My maid of honor! We met during a high school camping trip and we’ve been inseperable since. We dream to one day buy two homes with a bridge connecting them, but our partners don’t know yet. Melissa is also a registered nurse who answers all of my hypochondriac concerns. In all seriousness, Melissa has been my ride or die for over 16 years. We’ve been through so many stages of life together. She is my best friend turned sister, and I couldn’t see myself getting married without her by my side. Love you por vida, bestie!

Jeremy

Jeremy is my best friend. We met at work and quickly formed an unbreakable bond. Nature, it’s bounty, exercise, MMA, and music are a few things we are passionate about and bond over. Although we pick and prod at each other’s flaws, the love runs deep. We’ve been through a lot together and consider each other brothers. Jeremy has a way with his words, and has always been able to lift me up through life’s greatest challenges. I appreciate you and value your words more than you know. Thank you for being here for me.

My man of honor and kindred spirit! Danuel and I met in 2007, freshly graduated teens out to wreck havoc in the city. We don’t see each other or talk as often since I moved away from the Bay, but when we reconnect it’s as if time stood still. If you overheard a conversation between us, you’d think we hated each other, which is, I believe, a true testament of love and adoration. Love you, Kindred.

Zeph is my youngest brother. He’s an athlete who hopes to go pro. Although he is my youngest brother, Zeph taught me a lot about discipline, and made me realize if I worked hard enough for something, I would be able to attain it. I am so proud of the man you've become, bruv. I'm happy to call you my brother, and even happier you'll be standing next to me on my wedding day.

Crystal is my blood: the proof is in how much our children look to one another, lol. My baby cousin will always hold a special place in my heart. Crystal was the first baby I ever held and has become the mother I look to when raising my own children. Growing up, we didn't always see each other, but the love always ran deep and within the last couple of years, we've grown stronger in our bond and our commonalities. I love you Cousin.

Eli is my most expressive and stylish brother. Music has been a huge part of our lives and has tightened our bond throughout the years. He is a bold, talented, musician, artist, entertainer, and athlete with aspirations to go pro. Eli is one of the reasons I became the man that I am and was able to overcome the obstacles life threw at me. I admire the man and father you've become, bruv, and I love you beyond words.

Although I've only known Jamaica for a short while, she's someone I can always count on for support in the most stressful of times (like planning a 1st birthday party. Planning a 2nd birthday party. Planning a wedding, LOL). Jamaica is someone who is always down for the ride and I am beyond blessed to have her by my side. Love you, Jamaica!

I've known Alex since we were in grade school, and we have the stories to prove it. Alex and I have been through so many phases of life together. He is someone that helped curate my philosophy on life. We studied music, Buddhism, Christianity, Rastafari, and everything in between to fully understand the meaning of life, our motivations, and the origins of our beliefs. We both became passionate about music and he's the only person I know who probably has a larger music collection than I do. Although we don't talk as often as before, the love we have for one another is unconditional. I am lucky to be able to call you my friend and even luckier to call you my best man.

Janelle is my most blunt and honest friend! We met in high school and Although we grew up, apart, and moved miles and miles away from each other, our bond is still as strong as when we first met. We are the pair that can go months and years without speaking, but know that we'll always have each other's backs.

Mike and I met back in our Costco days and we instantly bonded over our love and curiosity for food and music. He is also the reason I became passionate about photography and cooking. Mike took me under his wing and taught me how to use the camera and how to smoke and slice a tri-tip perfectly; these skills later became an expressive outlet for me when I needed it the most. Mike is definitely the person I'll look over to after smoking ribs to see if it's any good. We are foodies at heart and he's the first person I'll call when I find an amazing food spot or hear a good song. I'll never be able to express just how much you mean to me. Kuya Jing; my roots. The person who shaped me to be the woman I am today. You've taught me so much about life, but the most valuable is the ability to share your authentic self with the world. You practically raised me. You showed me other sides of life and opened my eyes to how big the world is. You have been such a huge role model in my life. I remember being at your college graduation and being so inspired. We have so many memories and most are recorded in video. From creating home music videos, movie trailers, comedy skits, to creating clips for film festivals, we've definitely got some stories to share and show (but please don't show them at the wedding) ! I couldn't think of anyone in this world to marry us other than you. I value you more than I can say and I thank you... so deeply.. for being the best big brother to me. I love you Kuya Jing.
