Best Man
This is my cousin Stephen. He's more than just my cousin, he's one of my best friends. Growing up, I would look forward to going to my Uncle's house for the holidays because I knew it meant Steve would be there to make me laugh the whole day. Once I was old enough to get my license, I got a car and I'd drive to his place almost daily. We were very much into videography and audio, so our hang-outs consisted of recording funny skits and music. If he looks familiar, it's because he is the other half of 2WhiteBoys. I hope all of you get the chance to at least talk to him if you have not met him before. He's the man, the best man.
Maid of Honor
We've been friends for so long that I can't remember which one of us is the bad influence anymore! Erin was my true high school sweetheart, and more often than not my partner in crime. She's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! I love that she's so caring and empathetic, but will still call me out on my crap. That's a true friend! Our friendship hasn't changed much since high school. When we're together, we stay up late, usually laughing and dancing the night away. Only now, she has to get up with two young kids. FUN FACT: She may be a mom of 2, but she can tear up a dance floor!
Groomsman
Wow, my first roommate! I met John at my first job I ever had back when I was 16. We worked together at a grocery store called Croppers. We both have our own sad stories from working there, but I'll spare you the terrible 7 years worth of details. As we both transitioned into different jobs, John had a house and was looking for a roommate to split rent and utilities with and I was looking to finally move out of my parents place. It was destiny. From Croppers, to parties and beach vacations, to being roommates and to remaining great friends til this day, I have a lot of fond memories from my youth and John is in many of them.
Maid of Honor / Engagment Photographer
Vanessa and I met at Millersville University at my 20th birthday party. I could not get enough of her witty sense of humor! It's still my favorite thing about her. Shortly after we met, we moved in together. We remained roommates for 8 short years, and had a total of 17 roommates. The only constant was us! After she got engaged, I moved into an apartment one block from her house. Living so close made the transition easier, since I could still stop in for a good laugh or a heart-to-heart! She's one of a kind, and I'm so grateful for our friendship. Just know that when I finally enter the nursing home, I'm requesting her as my roommate! I'm sure by that point, our husbands won't mind. FUN FACT: Vanessa loves corgi butts!
Groomsman
I've known Mr. Billy Lasater for quite some time. Honestly, I've probably seen this guy more than I've seen my own parents. He lived in a neighborhood close by to mine, which allowed us to hang out frequently, We went to the same highschool & college, we shared a gym membership, we are on the same basketball and football teams and he's currently my roommate. A lot of people think that we should be sick of each other by now, but he's a cool, chill guy and we just click. We're on the same page for mostly everything. He gets it.
Bridesmaid
Carolyn was a Craigslist find! Vanessa and I needed new college roommates, and we found her. We joke that she’s the best thing we’ve ever found online! We've spent the last 10 years living life without regrets. She’s my biggest cheerleader AND enabler! It doesn’t matter if it’s mechanical bulls, goat yoga or sketchy clubs, she’ll be by my side… probably laughing and saying “girl, you’ve got this!” She promised Bobby and I that once she buys a house, we can quit our jobs and be her stay-at-home roommates. Everyone needs a friend like her! FUN FACT: Carolyn is a cat addict (she has 4... yes, I said 4) and tears the ends off her fries before eating them. I know, I know.. serial killer? Maybe...
Groomsman
Ken, hands down, might be the funniest guy I've ever met. When he enters the room, I immediately begin to smirk because I know a joke is coming. Much like my cousin and I, we shared the same passion for making our own films/skits. Ken and I attended the same highschool where we took the same video applications course 4 years in a row. We both starred in each others videos, whether it was a music video or an action film. We had such good material that we were given the "Award of Excellence" for Video Production during the Senior Award ceremony, where we accepted the award together on stage wearing the same outfit (unplanned & embarassing.) Ken now lives in California. I don't see him as often as I'd like, but I'll always consider him as one my best friends.
Bridesmaid / unpaid therapist
We first met in high school on the track team, where we quickly became inseparable! Wherever Shelly went, I followed. She got a job at Bill Bateman's Bistro, I got a job at Bill Bateman's Bistro. She went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), I went to IUP. She transferred to Millersville University, by golly, I transferred to Millersville University. Luckily, she was as fond of me as I was of her, or else our friendship would have likely ended in a restraining order. She's like a sister to me, and has been by my side through some of my best and worst times. I was grateful to stand by her side on her wedding day, and now she'll be by my side! FUN FACT: She has a thing for the elderly! She loves working with them as an Occupational Therapist.
Groomsman
I've known this kid since before he was born! Well, he isn't a kid anymore, he's a young adult (22.) He has facial hair and muscles now, but I still see him as the little kid pictured. His older brother, Robby, was my best friend growing up. I've known his whole family since I was 11 years old. I was over his house almost everyday, I practically lived there. I actually still have the key to his mothers house on my keychain. I was considered part of the family. Technically, Ryan is my little brother, and I can assure you he was treated as such growing up. =) He tagged along with us older kids on all our adventures whether we wanted him to or not! He's grown into a smart, terrific young man and I like to think my fellow groomsman and I are to thank!
Bridesmaid
We met our junior year of high school. After graduation, Kaila attended West Chester University, where she resided for many years. I visited Kaila and her wild puppy Zoey as much as I could. We always had a blast! As I was thinking about of all my favorite memories with Kaila, I realized that I can't share any of them. They're all inappropriate, but hilarious.. which is the best way to describe our friendship! FUN FACT: Kaila has an ENORMOUS Goldendoodle and likes to end her day with a nice cold glass of Blue Wave Vodka.
Groomsman
So, this is also Bob. Bob has been one of my best buds since I was about 12 years old. As you're aware now, we have the same first name, both have the perfect amount of scruff and breathtaking dark features. Thankfully, there is a difference. He's 6'5 and I'm not. So, please, if we're together and you need one of us, refer to him as "tall Bobby" and me as "small Bobby." Saves us both time from looking up and asking, "what?" Bobby's a big Philadelphia sports fan. Loves the Eagles. He also plays on my basketball and football team. He's just a very down to earth guy which is my favorite thing about him. Fun fact: He is the first of our friend group to get married and have a kid!
Bridesmaid
Jess and I met our freshman year of high school. She was one of my first friends, who graciously took me under her wing and showed me around. We were instant friends! Jess and I had sleepovers every weekend, staying up late gossiping about boys. We ended up going to different colleges, but visited each other as much as we could. Don't let her size fool you! She may look tiny, but she's got a big personality and an even bigger heart! Even though she has young children, she always makes time for her friends. FUN FACT: Jess is related to EVERYONE in Hanover, PA.
Officiant
I met Josh at the grocery store. After a year of being there, it was my time to go from cashier to frozen food rep. Josh was given the responsibility of training me in the frozen department since he's worked the department since before dinosaurs existed. We were moving bags of ice to the front freezers when he stopped and asked me, "have you watched the ice video yet?" I replied, "No." He then went on to tell me I couldn't proceed until I watched the ice video upstairs with management. I went upstairs and asked my managers if I could view the ice video. "Ice video?" they giggled. They didn't know what I was talking about. As I walked back downstairs, Josh was there waiting, laughing as if he were the funniest man alive. That's when I knew that we'd be friends for a long time.
Bridesmaid
We met our freshman year of high school. Steph was my savior! She sacrificed an extra 15 minutes of sleep to pick me up each morning for school, which sleep was a precious commodity back then! But we always had the time of our lives doing absolutely nothing! She's a real keeper. Not only does she laugh at all my jokes (she has a very contagious laugh), but I can always count on her for anything. We've helped each other over many fences in life, both literally and metaphorically. Although, she may post photos that only she looks good in, she'll always be one of my closest friends! FUN FACT: Steph LOVES Birkenstock shoes!
Groomsman
If you've been paying attention, you've noticed he has the same last name as Bob. They're brothers! Growing up, they came as a package deal. 2 friends for 1! Peter is probably the nicest, most kind friend I have. He's one of my more mature friends despite being the youngest of our friend group. Pete's an athletic freakshow. Just like the rest of them, Peter also plays on my football team. One of my favorite memories of Peter is when we played a team during our championship game that had won the previous 8 titles. They were undefeated in this particular season as well. We took them to overtime, and on the last play, with time expired, I threw a pass to Peter who caught it for the win! We broke their championship streak, and got our first championship title!
Bridesmaid / Future Sister-In-Law
Alicia is Bobby's younger, much cooler sister. She's so much cooler that if they didn't look so much alike, I'd swear they weren't related! The best way to describe Alicia is to imagine if Amy Schumer and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had a baby. She's sexy and polished, always looking like she came straight out of Vogue. But my favorite thing about her is that she's HILARIOUS! Dare I say.. funnier than Bobby? (He will adamantly deny that) She also has a heart of gold and always makes me feel like I'm a part of the family. I'm very lucky to have her as a sister-in-law. FUN FACT: Alicia lives in Long Island, NY. No, don't feel bad for her! She actually likes living there.
Ring Bearer
Vinny is Alicia's boyfriend and our soon-to-be brother-in-law (hopefully sooner than later, no pressure!). He may look small in size, but he's got a big personality. Vinny loves Whitney Houston, and transformed his garage into a shrine after her untimely death. Despite years of MMA training, he had his arm broken by Danny DeVito in an unfortunate bar fight. Vinny will admit now that he didn't stand a chance. In the upcoming year, he's launching an online dating app called, "Hot Flings," which specializes in matching singles with hot wing fetishes. Keep an eye out for him at the wedding! He'll be the adorable little boy assigned to ring security. FUN FACT: Vinny once made his own flame thrower. He filled a water gun with gasoline and attached a long stick with a lit match to the end.
Flower Girl
Emily is my cousin. She is 6 years-old, loves her grandmother, cheerleading, and watching her older brothers play football. She is also an expert on Disney Princesses, so we ask all related questions be directed to her. We expect that she'll outshine the bride on her wedding day with her gorgeous dress! FUN FACT: I was the flower girl in her mother's wedding!
