We LOVE bright penny. They have amazing pizzas and for those who drink alcohol beverages, great beer too. We can't get enough of this place.
Authentic Italian food! They are located in the center of town, however, they are only open Monday through Friday. If you are here for a longer stay, this a great place to visit for some great food.
Fun area if you have children or pets. There is a splash pad and playground for kids and dog playground area. We visit this place frequently.
Downtown Durham is know for having a great variety of restaurants, specially in the Tobacco Campus. You can get on the Tobacco Trail for a long stroll from downtown durham or SouthPoint Mall. You can also appreciate Duke University Campus. Judy loves Duke Garden for walks and picnics or just sight-seeing.
Raleigh is the Capital of NC! It's a historic city with many tourist attractions. It has great restaurants, lots of museums, parks and it's the home of NC State University. You can't go wrong with planning a visit to Raleigh.
Chapel Hill is the home the nation's first public university and Judy's alma mater, the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel hill. It was established in 1789 (north campus) and many additions have been made since. You can enjoy the beauty and history of this campus during a stroll and take a break on Franklin St for some grub.
