*OPTIONAL, for guests arriving on Wed night (about 50% of guests). This is not a formal wedding dinner, so everyone will pay their own way (or charge to room). All we have done is structured larger tables for guests from our wedding, so that you can sit and meet other early arriving guests, and start the buidling of the Juan-Aarti community on Wed night. Aarti & Juan will show up at 9 pm to say HI and mingle with everyone until the last guest leaves!

Daytime-Option A: Boat Island Trip
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Beach, sun, casual.
*Boat rides alrady paid for, included for wedding guests. Everyone pays for own lunch on islands. *The trip: Not for faint-of-heart: it's 45 minutes high speed boats, bouncing up and down. *Info on Islas del Rosario (27 islands): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosario_Islands https://www.vogue.com/article/islas-del-rosario-private-islands-off-the-coast-of-cartegena-colombia *Once there, we will stay for 4 hours on a beautiful island resort with cabanas, where you can swim, relax, see beautiful beaches, and have lunch. *Meet in Hotel Lobby at 8:30 am for 9 am departure by bus to boat pier that is 30 min away. *Boat ride is 45 min. *We will return between 2- 3 pm-ish
Daytime-Option B: City Tour of Old Cartagena
11:00 am - 3:30 pm
Casual, comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
*Meet in hotel lobby at 10:45 am. Buses will depart at 11 am. *Trip is 30 min to Old Cartagena. *City Tour is from 11:30 am-3:30 pm. (4 hours) *Eat lunch prior to tour, as we will not stop for sit-down lunch. *Tour guides will break groups into sub-groups of 10-15 to take a beautiful walking tour of the city, stopping at historical spots, art galleries, museums, and places to buy local traditional arts.

Indian Daytime Henna Ceremony for Women

Attire is casual. Indian outfits, if you own them (sari, salvar kameez, lehenga).
For women only. Children also allowed (boys and girls). There will be light snacks and drinks provided during this event.
Groom Private Lunch for Close Male Friends

This will be a lunch for the groom his closest male friends. Juan will alert group of men by Sept 1st.
Indian Wedding Ceremony
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Indian attire for women if possible. For men, suits (no ties), or Guayaberas, or smart casual.
*Transportation starts at 4 pm from hotel lobby / front entrance of Conrad to the beach area. (*or you can walk to the beach -- 10 min) This event takes place on the beach. For ladies, we will hand out flip-flops to avoid shoe issues. The cocktail reception is from 6:30 to 7:30, and the formal dinner starts at 7:30.
Post-Indian Ceremony Cocktail Reception & Dinner.

Western Wedding Ceremony
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Suit and tie, for men, Formal dresses for women.
This event will take place in the outside, partly-shaded courtyard of the hotel, connected to the main lobby and ballroom, where the main reception, band, dinner, and dancing will take place.
Post-Western Wedding Cocktail Reception & Dinner
5:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Formal attire for both men & women.
The cocktail reception is from 6:30 to 8 pm, and the formal dinner starts at 8 pm. Dinner will be a massive buffet for all food preferences -- vegan, fish, chicken, pork, beef.
