The Wedding Website of Juan Carlos González and Lindsay Holguín
Tallahassee is Florida’s capital and when we traveled throughout the U.S. to find a place to plant our roots, we were captivated by its enchanting canopy roads of moss-draped oaks & lush, gorgeous scenery. We were also charmed by its rich cultural heritage, coastal views, driving distance to sandy beaches, and forests within a short drive of downtown. There’s something to do for everyone in this small city suitable for all ages and interests. The venue we chose for our wedding is in the small town of Havana - about 20 miles from downtown Tallahassee (30-min drive). If you're a lover of the outdoors like we are, you will appreciate the abundance of nature and the chill vibes this place has to offer. Our wedding will be hosted during Autumn, so you can expect it to be pleasantly warm, humid but cool in the mornings and evenings. There could be a possibility of rain as it's towards the end of raining season in the area, so come prepared & check the weather before you travel.

Flight

Tallahassee International Airport

Tallahassee has a small international airport about 29 minutes (21 miles) from the venue, Havana Springs. Due to the fact that the airport is very small, you might need to make a connecting flight.

Hotel

Havana Springs

200 Coca Cola Avenue, Havana, FL 32333

Our wedding venue currently offers very unique, boutique style guest suites in historic, newly renovated structures dating back to the 1800s. We will be staying at one of their cabins the night of the wedding and you are more than welcome to book your suite to stay on site with us so we can continue to chill and explore the grounds together after reception is over. Suites can only be booked from Sunday 10/29 to Monday 10/30. For guests arriving on Saturday or earlier, or want to stay after Monday, we advise you book with other hotels in Tallahassee or surrounding areas for those specific days. *** Florida State University is having a Homecoming event the weekend of our wedding, therefore, hotels have jacked up their prices. So look into Airbnb or VRBO, which is another good alternative where you can rent an entire home, apartment, or room at a reasonable price. Please try to book lodging as soon as possible as prices go up and availability of rooms can decrease as the days get closer to the wedding. Quincy, Havana, and Monticello are surrounding towns where you can also search for lodging. ****
