This hotel is located approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes from the Anchorage Airport and about 1 hour from our wedding venue. Situated in Wasilla, it is conveniently close to the area's primary grocery stores. While Talkeetna has a grocery store, prices there are generally higher than in Wasilla.

Gigglewood Lakeside Inn

This Air B&B is located 99 miles, or approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, from the Anchorage Airport, and in Grace's neighborhood. It is also conveniently situated about 30 minutes from the wedding venue. While we have not personally stayed here, based on reviews and our observations when passing by, the property appears to be well-maintained, offering a serene and secluded environment.

Sheep Creek Lodge

This is a family-friendly restaurant, though it does feature a bar area. Many of the cabins are what we Alaskans refer to as 'dry cabins,' meaning they do not have showers or other facilities inside. However, guests will have access to these amenities in a separate area downstairs, away from the main dining space. The restaurant is located 94 miles, or roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Anchorage airport, and about 15-20 minutes down the highway from the wedding venue.
