Jeremiah Miller
Best Man
Jeremiah Miller is Ethan’s best man. The two met back in 2021 when Ethan joined Columbus Data technologies. They began working on site together and Jeremiah took newly graduated Ethan under his wing. From there, their professional relationship turned into a very personable one and a strong brotherhood was formed. Despite not knowing Ethan for the longest amount of time, Jeremiah has definitely had one of the most impactful and positive impressions on Ethan out of anyone in his life. The constant source of support and encouragement he has poured into Ethan truly means the world to us. He has always been there for Juana as well and showed that he is the most caring individual we’ve come to know! Maybe, just maybe, one day he will beat her in pickleball. Jeremiah is blessed with a sweet daughter that we love dearly, Miss Magnolia Miller. We are so appreciative of you and Mags and thank you for your heart of Gold! We love you and can’t wait to see where life takes us!
Kelsey Swofford
Maid of Honor
Kelsey Swofford is Juana’s Maid of Honor. She and Juana have been best friends since the 5th grade! They grew up living in the same neighborhood together and were truly inseparable. Kelsey is always the funniest and loudest laugh in the room. She will brighten any situation with her contagious smile and goofy sense of humor. If there’s one person who brings Juana out of her shell- it’s Kelsey! Kelsey is such a sweet and special friend, and is known for her genuine heart. No matter how much she has to juggle in her personal life, she is always willing to drop anything to help someone else out! She shines so brightly. Kelsey is engaged to Kobe Trent who has also become such an important person to both Ethan and Juana! The two couples share so many fond memories with each other and coincidentally both got engaged just a week apart (a dream come true of simultaneous wedding planning for preteen Kelsey and Juana.) Kelsey, thank you for being a sister to me and including me as a part of your family for so many years. We both love you and Kobe so much!!!
Omar Morales
Groomsman
Omar Morales is Juana’s younger brother. He is no doubt one of the most influential people in her life. A 6 year age gap between the two allowed Juana to always have a built in best friend and drive her to be the best version of herself to set a good example. If Omar is known for anything, it is his maturity and work ethic. Over coming so many hardships at a young age shaped him into the outstanding young man that he is. We could not be more proud of who he is becoming. He always has the best set of ears to listen and shoulder to cry on. He also gets his immaculate taste in good music and good looks from his older sister, Juana. No bias there! Omar, thank you for being the best brother and brother in law on the planet. We love you so much!
Gavin Murdoch
Groomsman
Gavin Murdoch is one of Ethan’s Groomsmen. Ethan and Gavin knew each other in elementary school, and then their paths crossed again in high school where they became very close. Jack Brewster introduced the two and they hit it off right away. Wherever Gavin is, there are jokes to be made and laughs to be had. Gavin is always unintentionally the center of attention. He can make any situation fun and memorable. Gavin was hesitant of Juana at the beginning of her and Ethan’s friendship because he thought she would steal Ethan away, but quickly warmed up to “Wogga” as he calls her and they became very close as well. Gavin has been a great friend to the both of them and they are excited for Gavin’s bright future he has ahead of himself. Thank you for being here for us, Gavin!
Jack Brewster
Groomsman
Jack Brewster is one of Ethan’s groomsmen. They have been nearly lifelong childhood friends, having met each other in Boy Scouts and knowing each other in elementary school. Jack and Ethan have spent countless years together with memories varying from camping trips, beach trips, birthday parties, and getting lost in the woods together. Jack is known for dedication and commitment to every part of his life. Whether it be academics, career development, physical fitness, or vacation planning he is always on top of extending himself to be the best version of himself. Jack has always been a great friend to Ethan, and since meeting Juana has continued to be one to her. We are lucky to have you as a friend and can’t wait to see where life takes us all Jack, thank you for being by our side!
Jesse Makowski
Groomsman
Jesse has known both Ethan and Juana since their childhood. Ethan and Jesse became close whenever they deemed themselves “leaders of the trumpets” in middle school band class; despite Ethan being the second to last chair while Jesse was second. Jesse and Juana became friends in the 5th grade- where Juana would actually cheat off of Jesse’s math tests. Jesse, being the loyal friend that he is, never snitched on her. He has been an unremarkable friend to the both of us for a very long time. There aren’t enough positive things to say about Jesse, he is caring, passionate, funny, present, and genuine. Some of our favorites memories with Jesse include last minute trips to the park for frisbee golf or forcing Ethan into watching Chick-flicks at the movies with Juana. Jesse is the best third wheeler we could ever ask for! He is such an all around outstanding guy and we value our friendship with him more than he will ever know. Jesse, thank you for always giving us your all and being a great friend! We love you
Katie Lancaster
Bridesmaid
Katie has been a part of Juana’s life since she was in elementary school! She is the older sister of Juana’s maid of honor Kelsey Swofford. Although they have known each other for over a decade- their friendship truly blossomed over the last few years! Since then, they have had some of the most memorable nights of Juana’s life! Whether it be dancing their feet off, laughing until they can’t breathe, or confiding their deepest secrets with each other- they have formed a sisterhood that will never fade! Katie is married to her high school sweet heart Shaun and has a sweet little princess of her own, Kadence. Katie is known for being uplifting, dedicated, and by far one of the greatest mothers and wives we have ever witnessed! Her faith in the Lord inspires others around her and she is a blessing to all who come across her. I truly hope to be half of the mother/wife that I have witness Katie to be! I admire you SO much! Thank you for being by our side on our special day- we love you Katie!
Elizabeth Harris

Elizabeth is Juana’s bridesmaid and Ethan’s older sister. She has always been so welcoming and kind towards Juana, and the best older sister Ethan could have asked for. There is something truly unremarkable about the Thompson family, and Liz is a testament to that. She is so driven, sweet, & fun to be around. When she sets her mind to a goal, there is nothing that will hinder her from reaching it. She has such a gentle and kind nature. She has always been known for her generosity and compassion for others. When Juana and Ethan first started dating- he constantly told Juana about how caring his older sister was. She had a change jar she kept in her car, and anytime she’d get change back from a purchase she’d collect it. Once the jar was full, she’d give it to someone she saw in need. She has always been a shoulder to lean on for those around her and never asks for anything in return. She works hard and is always smiling. She is a gem to be around and anyone who knows her will tell you that. She may come off as quiet at first, but once you get to know her it’s easy to get lost in conversation for hours! She loves her family, her pup Cooper, Taylor swift, and God above all else! If you’re ever in need of advice from a genuine heart; seek Elizabeth. Lizzy, we both love & admire you so much! Cristian is the lucky husband of Elizabeth. He is a fantastic brother in law to Ethan and Juana and has blessed us with an amazing extended family that we love! To know Cristian is to love him. He is so supportive and caring, and a blessing to all who know him. Cristian would quite literally move the Earth for those he cares about, and if he isn’t able to, he’ll at least cook you the best meal you’ve ever had! When you’re talking in a crowded room, he always makes sure to make you feel both seen and heard. Neither of us could dream of a more perfect partner for Elizabeth or ideal brother in law to marry into the family. Cristian is so easy to talk to and get along with, and dedicated to what he holds close to his heart. Thank you Cristian for always going above and beyond for everyone, not for the recognition but because your heart leads you to do what’s right. You are truly incredible, and we both love you!

Jennifer McCrary is one of Juana’s bridesmaid and childhood best friends. Jenny and Juana became super close friends in the 6th grade. All it took was one glance at each other from across the lunch table on the first day of school- and they instantly became friends. The amount of inside jokes between the two never ends! They were blessed to have shared almost identical class schedules throughout middle and high school, and created such a strong bond because of it. They’d spend their peer review edit times in English class discussing boys, one direction, and teenage girl gossip. They never stopped laughing with each other and made sure the other one always knew they could count on each other. Gym class periods were spent hiding in the locker room, under bleachers, and in the dreaded “gym corner.” Jennifer is one of the bubbliest and fun people to be around, most of the time you can’t even carry a full conversation on with her cause you’re laughing too much. Jenny, you have helped me through some of the hardest times in life- even if at the time you didn’t know what was going on at home. I could FaceTime you any time day or night and you’d pick up and make me laugh. You are so much more than a best friend- you are my sister! Katelyn Elder

Katelyn is one of Juana’s bridesmaid and one of her very best friends! Katelyn and Juana attended school together at Rainbow lake Middle, and even rode the same bus but never developed a friendship. Years later, at work, their paths crossed again and the Lord blessed them with a friendship that has developed into a sisterhood. They are basically the same person split into two bodies. They can look at each other from across the room without saying a word and know exactly what the other is thinking. If there’s a friend soulmate on this planet for Juana, it’s Katelyn! She is the most understanding and supportive person. She listens and remembers, and pours her heart into everything she does. Even when people have wronged her, she turns her cheek and will go out of her way to not only help them but make them feel cared for. She’ll bake you a cake and give you the most thoughtful gift you could imagine! Her heart is almost as beautiful as she is. She may never comprehend just how big the impression she leaves on those around her, but everyone around her knows she is truly irreplaceable. Although a newly blossomed friendship, it is one that will last a lifetime and continue to produce core memories and experiences. Walker Gilmore

Walker Gilmore is one of Ethan’s groomsmen and best friends! The two became close friends in high school and have shared the same friend group since! He has always been an honest and reliable friend to both of us and continues to demonstrate his dedication to our friendship. For example, though Ethan cooks him in fantasy football every year he continually joins our league and gives it his all. Walker is always just a phone call, or xbox invite, away and we are so grateful the lord has placed him in our lives. Although we don’t see each other nearly enough anymore, we both know that Walker would do anything in his power to help us if we needed anything. He is the type of man who checks in on you just to make sure you’re doing okay, and always extends a thankful heart for what he is given.
Samuel Leiszler

Samuel is one of Ethan’s groomsmen and very best friends to both Juana and Ethan. Sam has been a childhood friend to the both of them. He actually attended their very first official “date” with them to Mr. Gatti’s pizza buffet years ago, and has happily been tagging along on some ever since. Sam is one of the hardest working and most reliable people either of them know. The dedication he has to his studies and interests are outstanding. If Sam doesn’t know the answer to a question, he’ll find it in a matter of seconds. Extremely bright and gifted, he continues to go beyond every expectation and grow himself as an individual constantly. Sam is a once in a lifetime type of friend that we are so blessed to have made. He constantly shows up for the both of us and prioritizes our friendship despite his busy schedule. He rarely says “no,” to any proposed plans and that’s what makes him so fun. We can get back from an 11pm movie night and on a whim decide to go on a 4 mile run the next morning, and you better bet Sam will be there showing up with probably the biggest sarcastic remarks you’ve ever heard. We still wouldn’t change a thing about him though! Sam, thank you for always having our backs and never letting either of us down.
