FAQs

The Wedding Website of Khorizon Carina Dunn and John Paul Lee, III
Question

Where is the event?

Answer

We'll be tying the knot at Azalea Cove Waterside, a venue at the edge of Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. It's located at the end of an unfinished neighborhood, so you'll pass a few cul-de-sacs right before the festivities! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. Azalea Cove Waterside 35 Pebble Creek Drive Alexander City, AL 35010

Question

What time is the event?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 11 AM, followed by a mingling hour. Brunch will be served at 1 PM.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving around 10:45 AM CT to allow time for mingling, snacking, finding a seat, and signing our guestbook. We plan to start our ceremony before 11:30 AM CT, hopefully starting closer to 11 AM.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It's usually around 60-80 degrees F when October arrives in Alabama, so we request you dress nicely, but comfortably, like for a casual brunch. The reception will be indoors, but the ceremony will take place outside. To fully enjoy the venue's outdoor areas, wearing chunkier heels is recommended.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP by September 1; the earlier we can get a head count, the better!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Because we suffer from "too much stuff, not enough space" syndrome, we have a Zola registry that is mostly cash funds to help support our wedding day and our honeymoon. There are also a few items for those who wish to contribute specific physical goods.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Dates are welcome, as long as they are included in the RSVP number.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We welcome other kids to keep the kids of our wedding party company. There will be an area of the venue specifically for kiddos if needed, but we ask that you still keep a close eye on them, as there is a large body of easily accessible water on the property.
