Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant & Butik
Gordon Lodge offers a complimentary breakfast, but this is an iconic Door County location. Plus, there are goats on the roof! Their gift shops are also phenomenal. At night, their outdoor space is a lively bar with bands and dancing.
One Barrel Brewing Company Door County
Ryan's favorite brewery... maybe ever. His favorite beer is the Commuter. They also have good snacks. Across the street there are some really cute shops that Katie loves, too.
Stone's Throw Winery
One of the best wineries we've ever been to! It's a little on the pricier side, with a tasting (of 5 wines) at $14. Glasses range in price up to about $22. They have small plates (the bruschetta is fantastic) and wood fired pizza, depending on whether the pizza place is open.
Husby's Food & Spirits
Lively bar & pub with concerts, great food, and alcoholic slushies (located at the filling station)!!!!
Downtown Fish Creek
Fish Creek is Katie's favorite place to go shopping. There are lots of cute little shops in downtown, as well as some great restaurants.
White Gull Inn
White Gull Inn is where Katie's parents stayed for their honeymoon! They have a great breakfast restaurant that serves delicious food -- especially the hashbrowns and french toast!
Wilson's Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor

Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours
What better way to see the lake that Door County is so famous for than to take a tour! There are also Sister Bay Scenic Boat Tours, so it's whatever you prefer!
Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market
Fun winery with a great outdoor space. The tastings are good, but the best part are the wine slushies! Make sure to ask which ones are alcoholic and which ones are just their juice ones.... or you'll wonder why everyone else is tipsy and you're completely sober....
Door Peninsula Winery
We love our wineries! Door Peninsula is a fun place to relax and try some great wines.
Peninsula State Park
A gorgeous state park with a beautiful observation tower, great hiking paths, and a chance to get into nature. Daily passes range from $8-$11 per car, depending on whether you have WI license plates or not.
Sister Bay Boat Rental
If you're more the type that prefers renting a boat over a boat tour, this is the place for you! Ryan's family take a boat out every time they're in Door County and it is so fun! Sister Bay Boat Company also rent out jet skis (a fan favorite) and other fun equipment like tubes and waterskis. Note: Depending on your age, you may need a boating license to take out a boat or a jetski.
