We're getting married!

We met at Lutherdale Bible Camp in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, when we both were working as camp counselors in 2017. Katie thought that Ryan was hyper but sweet when she first met him, and Ryan thought Katie was pretty and "very particular with her social media" (whatever that means). We quickly became great friends, working together and supporting each other through tough weeks. We spent a lot of time joking around and goofing off. Although at this point we were only friends, we found that we had a lot in common and shared a love for many important things in our lives - music, working with kids, our faith.... and wine, of course. Before leaving camp, we made plans to meet up for Lynfred Winery's annual Octoberfest celebration. However, we didn't make it that long and ended up meeting up for dinner and a walk through Valpo's Taltree park, and we realized that maybe we liked each other a little bit more than friends. and... the rest is history!
