Wee are Getting Married!

Alex and Joy met at Bale Breaker's Brewery towards the end of February 2019. After multiple failed attempts at being introduced to Joy (way to go Brian), Alex decided the best move was to approach Joy just as she was nearly startled to death by a HORSE (technically a Great Dane). He slid into the DM's and they went on their first date 2 days later. They really enjoyed each other's company, but unfortunately Alex was leaving for MN in a few months for a job he had already signed a contract for. So they decided to just live in the moment and have fun! But who could resist Joy's charm and charisma. They both felt it was best to not commit to a long distance relationship because those never work out. Nonetheless, they found each other on the phone together for hours everyday. Alex eventually caved and asked Joy if she'd like to attempt a long distance relationship. This led to a year of countless Skype dates and flights across the country. At the end of Alex's one year contract, he decided to move back to WA to be reunited with Joy. They were WEEunited once again! Alex started his new job as an Orthopedic PA in WA, and Joy started her clinicals as a 3rd/4th yr medical student. It was hard work, but having each other made it A LOT less lonely. On 8/8/20 Alex proposed to Joy in Portland, OR after a date to a cadaver museum (classic). She said yes without hesitation. COVID may have kept the world down, but Alex and Joy always found other ways to have fun. Beer Pong championships, Power Hour, and blind wine tastings (we also participated in non-alcoholic activities as well). The possibilities were endless. AND THEN... the most amazing thing happened to Alex and Joy. Lincoln Wee, the Gerbarian Shepsky entered their life, and the hole in their hearts, they did not even know they had, was filled. They all lived happily ever after!
