Fun funky art scene in downtown Pomona! Who would have guessed that Pomona would have such a vibrant art scene? We certainly didn't! Happens every 2nd Saturday of the month - Oct. 16
We aren't too far from Disneyland, and there's no trip to Southern California without a trip to Disneyland. We haven't gone together, but we hear it's fun.
A massive bookstore located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, it's one of the first places we went on a date on. It's a place we've been to countless times.
A beautiful library and garden with extensive collections of art from around the world and Los Angeles - and a place where Joyce and Steve have many happy memories
Our first date spot, and a great place to find craft beer and food in Los Angeles' Art District
After seeing where Joyce and Steve started their love, try some of the pomme frittes, specialty hotdogs, and an amazing selection of Belgian and German beers at this little Arts District hot spot.
Los Angeles' famous Little Tokyo neighborhood with a great deal of history and lots of shops and vintage clothing store. If you like donuts, surprisingly, there are quite a few good spots for them (we recommend Cafe Dulce but Donatsu is good too!)
A place to get some of the best new food in Los Angeles - we especially recommend Sticky Rice for truly authentic Thai and Sarita's Pupusaria for the best El Salvadorian food you can find and didn't realize you needed in life. It's also right next to Angel Flights, which has been seen in countless movies from La La Land to 500 Days of Summer! It's also a spot that Joyce and Steve went to early in the relationship
A place with great coffee and atmosphere - it's a spot Joyce and Steve went to for many early dates, and a spot Steve went to often when doing his MA work at USC.
A small little outdoor place specializing in Belgian food in Claremont, which is a great little downtown area right by the mountains and a nice place to go out to if the hustle and bustle of the city is too much.
