It's funny to look back at all the memories we have shared together building up to the preparation for this special day. Looking back, it was March 2023 and Joyce basically made the first move. We don't want to expose her, but that is just that. She liked one of my photos on a social media platform, in which surprised me and took me a bit to response. At that point, the ball was on my court and the next thing you know we were talking every single day. On April 30th, 2023, Joyce and I took a trip to The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rockies and I had asked her: "Will you continue to walk this path of life with me?" Joyce said yes, and I became her first official partner that was soon introduced to her family and vice versa. On July 21st, 2024, I officially knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and have asked her to marry me. Joyce said yes, yet again, and here I am typing this now. Just kidding! With all jokes aside, I am a very blessed for Joyce to have agreed to experience this lifetime with me as my lovely wife and better half. On August 28, 2025, we will be going back to The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rockies, and this time we will be in our wedding attire and answering with "I Do's." Joyce brought hope back into my life and she continues to show me what love is and what it can be for each and every one of us. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you on this very special day! With love and gratitude, Angelo Sison
So, let's start with the real story.. Angelo definitely made the first move, but don't tell him I said that. In March 2023, I might have liked one of his photos in Instagram (just a little like, no big deal) and next thing I know, he's sliding into my DMs. And he didn't stop there, he actually asked one of my close friend if I was single. I mean how forward is that?! But, it worked haha. After that, we started talking every day and I think we both knew pretty quickly that this was something special. Fast forward to our first date in Red Deer. Yep, we both drove separately and met there, hoping we wouldn't embarrass ourselves. But, surprise! We actually, had the best time. I remember feeling so comfortable with him, like we'd known each other. Now, almost two years of being together, I look back at everything we've been through the highs, the lows, the crazy moments, and the calm ones. I feel beyond grateful that Angelo has been by my side through it all. There's no one else I'd rather have been through the rollercoaster of life with. And now here we are, planning for August 28, 2025. Going back to Our Lady of Rockies, but this time, saying "I Do" not just to each other but in front of the Lord, asking for His blessings on our life together. We can't wait to share that moment with all of you! With love and joy, Joyce Samonte
