What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see you dressed in your cocktail attire—suits, jumpsuits, and fun, festive dresses are all welcome! But if dressy casual feels more like your vibe, that’s totally okay too. Think of it as “look good, feel good” attire—whatever makes you feel fabulous and ready to celebrate! P.S. Our wedding is close to Christmas, so feel free to add a festive touch—think velvet, red, sparkles, or anything merry and bright!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony and wedding reception starts to ensure you’re settled in and ready for the big moment.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

We’ll be tying the knot at the beautiful and historic Eastern & Oriental (E&O) Hotel in Penang. It’s a stunning venue with timeless charm—and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate with our favorite people.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at the E&O Hotel for RM8 per entry. Super convenient if you’re driving in—just follow the signs to the hotel’s parking area. Do note: if you leave after 11:00 PM, the rate will be RM16 per entry.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your tiny humans, our wedding will be a grown-ups-only celebration (think of it as a mini vacation!). We hope you’ll join us for a night of laughter, dancing, and maybe a few cocktails—kid-free!

Can I bring a date/plus-one?

Answer

As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping things intimate due to limited space. If your invitation includes a plus-one, you’ll see their name (or a spot to RSVP for them) on your RSVP form. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Do you have a hotel block or recommendations for accommodations?

Answer

We’ve gathered a list of nearby hotels in the Georgetown area to make your stay as smooth and comfy as possible. We also couldn’t resist sharing some of our favorite hidden gem food spots around the city. From late-night bites to brunch favorites, we’ve got you covered if you’re hungry for adventure (or just really food that we go for every time we are back to Penang) You can check out all the details in the 'Travel' and 'Our Favourites' sections on our wedding website. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please come prepared for the weather (and maybe some beautiful scenery!). Afterward, we’ll move indoors for dinner and dancing, where we’ll keep the celebration going in style.

What should I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the meal, so if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please don’t hesitate to let us know! Once you’ve confirmed your attendance, we’ll send out the dinner menu, and there will be a section where you can share any special requirements. Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us!

Am I Invited to the Ceremony, the Reception, or Both?

We’d truly love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited seating, the ceremony will be an intimate gathering with selected guests. If you’re invited to both the ceremony and the dinner reception, you’ll see both options on your RSVP form. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you at the dinner reception later that evening for a night of food, fun, and celebration!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you can’t make it, no worries! You can update your RSVP anytime before the deadline. If something comes up after that, just let us know as soon as you can—we totally understand, and we appreciate the heads-up!

Can’t find your name in the RSVP?

Answer

Uh-oh… either you’ve unlocked invisibility or we messed up (oops!). If your name doesn’t show up or your invitation seems to have ghosted you, don’t panic—just reach out to us! We probably made a typo or had a little hiccup. We’d never leave you off the list on purpose. Promise.
