Cultural Note
In Cyprus, it's customary to give a cash gift in an envelope at the wedding reception. Guests usually present their gift when greeting and congratulating the couple and their families before entering the dinner venue. So, if you notice a queue at the entrance, don't worry. This is just part of the tradition. We'd love the opportunity to say hello and thank you personally, so please feel free to join the queue even if you're not bringing a gift. If you'd prefer to contribute to our honeymoon fund in cash rather than online, you're very welcome to do so on the day.
