Little Sister of the Bride. The Bride and Chasitty grew up sharing a room and have created countless memories together: from childhood, to adulthood, to motherhood. Chasitty is the mother of the Bride's first and eldest godchild, Isaac, who will be the Ring Bearer in the Wedding Ceremony. Chasitty and the Bride are two Virgo sisters (only six days a part) who talk to each other almost every day. The two joke and laugh until they both cry. They fight and love each other the hardest; but wouldn't have it any other way. Naomi couldn't imagine anyone else to fill this important role.
Julian Jackson
Best Man
Twin brother of the Groom. Of course, the brotherhood, the bond, the connection, predates the proverbial sand box. Jordan and Julian were inseparable; they grew up in the same room all the way through high school and were roommates in college, played sports together, became musicians, and always protected each other. If that wasn't enough, they even pledged the same fraternity together, making them brothers twice over! There is no bond deeper than that of a twin. Jordan is deeply honored to have his twin brother next to him on his big day.
Shana Napier
Matron of Honor
Big Sister of the Bride. Shana and the Bride are bi-coastal sisters, but Nye & Shay [did] Take Miami, Vegas, Paris, NYC, Charlottesville and LA. Shana is the Bride's partner in sisterly adventure (see you in a major city near you!). Dr. Shay has inspired the Bride's natural hair, college, medical, and professional journeys. Their worlds have coincidentally aligned and they have weathered many storms side by side. Each time, Naomi and Shana have grown both spiritually and emotionally in the process together. Shana is thrilled to welcome her new Brother-in-Law to the family and Naomi couldn't imagine a better role model to stand beside her on her wedding day.

Cousin of the Groom. Over the years, the unwavering support and brotherly love from Shaytn has undoubtedly helped cultivate the man Jordan is today. Growing up, Jordan always wanted to hang out with his older cousin; not just to play basketball or go shopping, but to listen and get advice on anything Shaytn was willing to share. In many ways, Jordan looks to Shaytn as an older brother and is honored to have him by his side on his special day.
Lakeisha Juniel

Cousin of the Bride. Lakeisha and the Bride's mothers are sisters and the two cousins are only three months apart in age. Keisha and Naomi couldn't be any closer growing up. They were thick as thieves, chitter & chatter, game jean and box braid twins, cheerleading and track duos, dance choreographers, and karaoke champions. Last year, the Bride served in Lakeisha's Bridal Party and Lakeisha is thrilled to return the favor. Naomi is excited to share this moment with her closest first cousin as they enter this next chapter in their lives together as newlyweds.
Foster Himmelstein
Groomsman
Brother of the Bride. The Groom and Foster have developed a close friendship and brotherhood over the years. Foster visited UVA often after the Groom attended his Army AIT graduation in 2016. They hung out whenever Foster visited Naomi in Charlottesville and frequently bonded over their love of Naomi and the family. The Groom and Foster continued to stay in touch while Foster was deployed in both Kuwait and South Korea and remain close to this day. The Groom is also the Godfather and soon-to-be-uncle to Foster and his wife Kiara's daughter, Cora Rose.

Little sister of the Groom. Sydne' and the Bride are soon to be sisters, but their introduction circles back years to their Teen Wolf days! The Bride has had the privilege to watch Sydne' grow into the beautiful, intelligent, mature theater scholar she is today. The two connected over their natural hair journeys, anime childhood marathons, Netflix binges, and love for their ever growing family. The Bride is beyond honored to have her new Sister-in-law by her side on her big day!

Brother of the Bride. The Groom grew close with Shannon shortly after he graduated UVA. The Groom attended Shannon's high school graduation in 2016 and they continue to bond over their mutual love for the family and Naomi. Shannon never hesitates to show his emotion and he knows he can come to the Groom for anything. Likewise, the Groom knows that Shannon will do anything for him and Naomi. The Groom is also the soon-to-uncle to Shannon's two sons, Noah and Nicholas. The Groom is the Godfather of Shannon's firstborn son, Noah.

Big cousin of the Bride. Not old enough to be the Bride's mama, but wise enough to put her in her place. Nevertheless, Kia always led with kindness, love and compassion. Kia was the first college girl that the Bride looked up to growing up. Today, she is one of the couple's greatest blessings and reason for their restored Christian faith. Kia has been a proponent of Naomi and Jordan's relationship from the very beginning. Through thick and thin: graduations, birthday celebration's, hospital visits, wedding venue tours, etc., Kia was there! The Bride is beyond blessed to have her big cousin and support system by her side on her wedding day!
Aaron Himmelstein

Brother of the Bride. Aaron is like a little brother to the Groom. The Groom has enjoyed watching Aaron grow into the impressive young man he is today. Aaron would always reach out to the Groom for advice and they bonded often over goals, ambitions and life in general. Aaron was the first brother to visit Jordan and Naomi when they settled into New York and they have created many memories in the city together. It's an honor to have Naomi's "life twin" and youngest brother, Aaron, beside the Groom on their special day.
Nickia Holmes

Big cousin of the Bride. The Bride has looked up to Nickia longer than she can possibly remember. The Bride vividly recalls being so proud that the most popular triple threat (beauty, brains, and personality), in the elementary school they both attended, was her big cousin, Pookie. Over the years, the two have created many memories together; from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs (and everything in between). To have Nickia stand as a Bridesmaid is truly a dream come true.
Cecil White

Close friend of the Groom. The Groom and Cecil met their first year at UVA. Out of a difference in opinion over which fraternity was better than the other, a rich friendship followed and has matured into a brotherly bond. The two have thrown parties together, road tripped, and toasted to each other probably more times than they can count. Not only that, but Cecil has been heavily invested in Naomi's and Jordan's relationship over the years (and has already requested a toast), and so having him as a groomsman is an incredible blessing.

Wife and Line Sister of the Bride. Before there was Jay & Nye, there was Ash & Nye. Ashley and the Bride have been wives (a term of endearment that really means best friend; but it's a secret...even to them) since early college days. The two have laughed, cried, had the realest conversations, pulled all-nighters, traveled city to city to celebrate each other's birthdays, and joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated together. The Bride could not be happier to have her Wife give her away on her special day.
Tony Douglas

Close friend of the Groom. The Groom and Tony met their first year at UVA. In what felt like a matter of weeks after arriving on grounds, the two were already collaborating on lavish parties and events with little to no capital behind it. Tony continues to inspire Jordan with his perseverance, humility, and integrity in every facet of life. They were college roommates and several business endeavors and house parties later, they're still as close as ever.

Close friend and Line Sister of the Bride. Eboni and the Bride have been close friends for a decade. When the two first met at UVA, their classy, intelligent demeanor mixed with their street smarts and interest in AKA drew them together right away. The two are more like sisters than friends. Their families intertwine (the Bride is Eboni's Mother's 3rd daughter) and the two care about each other deeply. The Bride is forever grateful for their adventure, support and friendship and couldn't imagine Eboni not by her side on her big day.
Mustapha Allanah

Close friend of the Groom. The Groom and Mus met their first year at UVA. Surprisingly, they quickly found out they were both from Elmont, NY and knew a lot of the same people from back home, so the connection was natural. Mustapha has always been there for Jordan and whenever he needed him and as embodied a true friend from the very beginning. Through fashion shows, planning events, and a 17-hour spring break drive to and from VA and FL, the two couldn't be any closer.
Kanesha Banks

Longtime friend of the Bride. Dr. Banks has been checking the Bride for almost a decade. Kanesha provides the Bride with balance, kindness, a listening ear and active support. The two have the same positive energy and mindfulness and are both extremely family orientated. Kanesha and the Bride's moral code has solidified a forever friendship full of honest, unbiased perspectives on life and relationships. They love couple trips too! The Bride served in Kanesha's Bridal Party and Kanesha is elated to reciprocate the offer. The Bride could not be more honored.
Xavier Lee

Close friend and Line Brother of the Groom. The Groom and Xavier met at UVA. Jordan was a 1st year, while Xavier was a 4th year. Initially, they met through social events and parties as Xavier had his hands in several planning and events businesses, but their relationship really deepened in their pursuit of the Iota Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The process and journey to becoming Alpha men, forged a truly unbreakable bond.
Alexandra McCargo

Close friend and Line Sister of the Bride. Alex and the Bride met at Summer Orientation prior to their first year at the University of Virginia. Quite honestly, they were friends at first sight (this is a secret too). Early on, there was a slight bump in the road until the two quickly realized they were actually the same person. Their loyalty, boss mentality, realness, cynical sense of humor, college shenanigans and overall logical/Virgo outlook on the world has kept them quite entertained with each other over the years. The Bride is beyond blessed that Theta Kappa put their friendship back on track and Alex is elated to stand beside the Bride when she ties the knot.
Sheridan Fuller

Close friend and Line Brother of the Groom. The Groom and Sheridan first met on the basketball court at UVA. The next semester, they were pursuing Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. together. Sheridan and Jordan naturally worked well together. They both served as Iota Beta chapter leaders on grounds, brought in a line together and established a legacy endowment for the chapter. Post college, they've remained close, pushing each other professionally and personally. Sheridan was positioned at the back of the line; he was the anchor, the support and always provided perspective. He's done the same for the groom, time and time again, and Jordan is honored to have Sheridan by his side.
