At Last...

Alyssa and Sam first met on a college dorm hall at Furman University in the fall of 2015—under unexpected circumstances that somehow set the tone for everything that followed. What began as a chance encounter soon turned into shared music classes, hallway study sessions, and endless laughter. At the start, Alyssa was the wild, fun one, and Sam was right there with her—matching her energy with enthusiasm, devotion, and humor. Over time, they grew together, and Alyssa became more even-keeled, thoughtful, and deeply empathetic, while Sam remained the talkative, devoted constant who never stopped making her laugh. Together, they bring out the best in one another—serious and silly, steady and spontaneous—complementing each other in all the ways that matter most. In October 2024, during a walk along the Olentangy River, Sam asked Alyssa to spend forever with him—nearly a decade in the making, full of joyful chaos, laughter, and their dogs at their side. On April 17, 2026, Alyssa and Sam will celebrate the beginning of their next chapter—finally home, at last.
