Travel

The Wedding Website of Michael Arin and Gina Jostes
Bad Schussenried is a destination for everyone. Whether you are flying across the Atlantic or driving across Germany, we appreciate you going the extra mile to attend our event! Below are some specifics, particularly for our American guests.

Flight

Frankfurt am Main or Munich Airport

Please plan to fly into either Frankfurt or Munich. Any international trip will require a passport, so make sure yours is not expired!

Train

Deutsche Bahn

From your airport, please schedule a train to Bad Schussenried or Aulendorf. Most itineraries, usually around 3-hours, include a high-speed train (ICE) from the airport to Ulm, then a regional train that runs through Bad Schussenried to the neighboring Aulendorf. They are small towns!

Travel Note

Bus

The train station (bahnhof) of Bad Schussenried is about a 20 minute walk from the town center. Bus 272 runs very infrequently between the two and costs 2.70 € per person.

Travel Note

Car Rental Options

If you are looking to rent a car during your stay, we recommend either renting one from the airports for the entire roadtrip, or renting a car in Ulm since it is the closest city to Bad Schussenried.

Hotel

Thermalhotel Aulendorf

5 Ebisweiler Straße, Aulendorf, BW 88326, Germany

Burg 3 will be our reception location and the hosts highly recommend this hotel in Aulendorf, which is a short 8 minute drive away. It is a 15 minute drive from the ceremony location. The reception hosts recommend calling a large taxi with a group for the way home from the party since they will have limited parking.

Hotel

Hotel Amerika

14 Maybachstraße, Bad Schussenried, BW 88427, Germany

The main hotel in Bad Schussenried -- and we can't make this up -- is Hotel Amerika. Other options include Hotel Barbara and, further away, Landgasthof zur Linde. If you would prefer to stay within Bad Schussenried, we recommend this one.
