I have found the one whom my soul loves. Song of Solomon 3:4I have found the one whom my soul loves. Song of Solomon 3:4

We first met in college in West Point, Georgia, back in 2020. The very first time we talked was after Chase’s baptism, when I (Josseline) nervously went up to congratulate him. A month later at a worship night, we ran into each other again — thanks to Chase sneezing on me from behind and then just smiling with a quick ‘sorry.’ From there, we started seeing each other around campus more and more, and soon we were snapchatting every day. When COVID hit, I went back home to Maryland while Chase stayed in Georgia, and we spent countless hours on FaceTime really getting to know each other. I returned for my junior year and things became more serious, Chase finally asked me to be his girlfriend. From then on, we were always together; he put me through all his football workouts, we cooked for each other, and I even worked with the football team's athletic department. I was able to tape Chase’s ankles before his games and watch him play from the sidelines during his senior year. During this time, Chase also helped me grow back in my faith and we began going to Church together on Sundays which helped our relationship grow stronger. In 2021, Chase graduated, and long distance began. Sometimes we were only two hours apart, sometimes ten, but we made it work through endless calls, visits, and even Chase’s very first plane ride to see me in Maryland. During our two years of long distance, we traveled together, I learned just how serious college football Saturdays really are, and our faith continued to guide us and bring us closer. In 2023, we finally ended the long-distance chapter and moved into our first apartment together in Buford, GA as I started nursing school. A year later, Chase started a new job in Atlanta, and we settled into a new home. December of 2024, our little family grew when we became dog parents to our sweet boy, Rambo. In August of 2025, we traveled to El Salvador together. What I thought was just another vacation for us turned into a memorable trip. High in the clouds, surrounded by God's presence and our loved ones, Chase asked me to spend forever with him. It was the most beautiful and easiest 'yes' ever, and now our hearts are so full and we are so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with all of you.
