Wedding Party

Toshea'

Matron of Honor

Having my sister as my Matron of Honor feels like the most natural choice in the world. She has been one of the biggest constants in my life—my sounding board, my comfort, and my built-in best friend. No matter the season, she has always shown up with love, honesty, and support, and I’m endlessly grateful for the bond we share. On this journey to the wedding, she has been there for every detail, every laugh, and every moment of excitement. Having her by my side on such a meaningful day is something I’ll always cherish. I couldn’t imagine taking this step without her.

Nick

Best Man

I met Nick in 8th grade when he transferred to my school, and from day one we just clicked. His home quickly became my second home, and his family welcomed me like one of their own. We were teammates from middle school through high school, but our bond was always bigger than basketball. Nick pushed me, supported me, and helped shape the man I am today. He strengthened my faith, challenged me to grow, and has been there through every season of life. Watching him become an incredible husband and father makes me proud every day. Having him stand by my side as my best man is an honor, because there’s truly no one more deserving.

Janice

Bridesmaid

From childhood memories to the countless stories we still laugh about, my sister has always been part of my circle. She’s the one who knows my quirks, keeps me laughing, and reminds me not to take life too seriously. Her presence has always brought comfort, joy, and a sense of home, no matter what stage of life we’re in. I’m truly honored to have her standing by my side on my wedding day. Sharing this moment with her feels like a full-circle reminder of just how lucky I am to call her my sister, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this chapter without her.

Mike

Groomsman

Mike is my brother, no other way to put it. I first met him in 6th grade when we competed against each other in basketball. During my sophomore year, I looked up in class and saw Mike and his twin, Monte, peeking through the door. When I found out they had transferred to my school, everything clicked, and from that day on, we were locked in. Our bond grew through hoops and weekends hanging out at my parents’ house. Even when we went to different colleges, we always reconnected like no time had passed. What’s meant the most is Mike’s unwavering support. Whether traveling to whatever school I was coaching at or sending a quick “congrats” after a win, he’s always been in my corner. Mike is family. And it means everything to have him standing beside me today.

Michaela

Bridesmaid

Even though we no longer share a place, she’ll forever hold “roomie” status in my heart. We’ve created so many memories together, spur-of-the-moment plans, too many laughs to count, and moments that still make me smile. She’s truly one of a kind, someone who brings joy, comfort, and a whole lot of fun wherever she goes. Having her by my side on my wedding day feels like adding another special chapter to all the memories we’ve already made together.

Monte

Groomsman

Monte is my other brother. Back in sixth grade, he was the other “6'6'' twin”—okay, maybe not really, but that’s how it looked to me! A few years later, Monte transferred to my school, and our brotherhood took off. Calm, dependable, and solid, he’s been there through hoops, long talks, mall runs, and legendary nights that still make us laugh. Even when college took us apart, every break and summer we reconnected like nothing had changed. Monte’s unwavering support, traveling to see me coach, and random group-chat messages mean more than he’ll ever know. He’s family, plain and simple, and having him beside me today means everything.

Jourdan

Bridesmaid

Our friendship started in the middle of workplace chaos, where we bonded over shared laughter, inside jokes, and the ability to find joy even on the wildest days. What began as coworkers quickly turned into something so much more, someone I could trust, talk to, and count on. She has a way of bringing light and hype into every moment. Whether we’re laughing through stress or celebrating life’s wins, she’s always been there with the perfect mix of humor, honesty, and support. I can’t imagine celebrating this day without her. Knowing she’s beside me makes this entire moment even more special.

Larry

Groomsman

I’ve known Larry, also known as LRuss, since what feels like fifth grade. Back then he was one of the strongest and most athletic kids around. We battled on the basketball court for years before becoming teammates in AAU in eighth grade. In my version of the story I called him up and recruited him to join my team, making him my first official recruit of many. We bonded over sports and our shared love of the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls. In high school we played together and built a true brotherhood. Through every stage of life LRuss has been loyal, dependable, and family. It was an honor to stand beside him at his wedding, and today it means everything to have him standing beside me. LRuss is my brother for life

Joy

Bridesmaid

We like to joke that we were “forced friends” by our older sisters, but somewhere along the way, it became real. What started as childhood convenience grew into a bond full of laughter, shared secrets, and memories I’ll always treasure. She’s been there through so many chapters of my life, offering support, humor, and love in ways only she can. Having her stand with me on my wedding day feels so special, and I’m endlessly grateful for her presence. She’s truly one of my forever people, and I can’t imagine celebrating this day without her by my side.

Lekeith

Groomsman

Mooch is like the little brother I never had. From the moment we met, him in high school and me just starting my coaching career, I was struck by his vision, drive, and determination. His passion, eagerness to learn, and relentless work ethic made it easy to support him. When I earned my first Division I coaching job, fate stepped in because Mooch had already committed to the same university. Those two years cemented our bond, and our friendship grew even stronger. Nothing has changed since. Watching his journey as a film director in Los Angeles, we still push each other, hold each other accountable, and grow together. I cannot thank him enough for the impact he has had on my life.
