Over the years, “the Sams” have been through every life season together — late-night talks, college drama, and all the big growing-up moments that only your person gets to see. Samantha is someone Sam talks to every single day, who truly knows her heart. She is steady, honest, and one of the greatest gifts in Sam’s life. Sam was honored to stand with Samantha on her wedding day, and now she is thrilled to have her by her side. Her presence on our wedding day is a gift, and we can’t imagine celebrating without her.

Michael has been one of Josiah’s closest friends for years — the kind of friend who shows up, sticks around, and becomes family without even trying. They’ve been through every stage together, from dumb teenage adventures to the real adult-life moments that shaped who they are today. Michael is the person Josiah can count on for honesty, loyalty, and the kind of support only a best friend can give. He’s been there for the highs, the lows, and everything in between. We’re incredibly grateful to have him in our lives and honored to have him play such a big part in our wedding.

Amelia has been part of our family for years now, and it’s hard to remember a time before her. She and Jake have been together since 2019, and from the very beginning, she just fit right in. She is the sweetest, most thoughtful girl and is always the first to jump in and help with anything. We both adore her, and I feel so lucky to have her not just as Jake’s partner, but as someone I truly love and consider family. We are lucky to have her standing by our side.

Jared is Josiah’s oldest brother and has always been more than just a sibling. With a significant age difference between them, Jared naturally offered guidance, wisdom, and support throughout Josiah’s life. They’ve shared countless family moments, and Josiah was proud to stand with Jared on his wedding day. Together, they celebrate their growing family and the joys of nieces and nephews who enrich their lives. We’re deeply grateful for his love and support, and honored to have him by our side on our wedding day.

Kirsten has been one of Sam’s closest friends since high school, standing by her through every season of life. Even though distance has separated them at times, their friendship has remained strong, constant, and deeply rooted. Sam was honored to be in Kirsten’s corner for her elopement, just as Kirsten has always been there for her. Joshua isn’t just Josiah’s older brother — he’s been a guide, role model, and steady source of support from the very beginning. With a significant age gap between them, Joshua naturally led the way, offering perspective, encouragement, and accountability through every stage of life. His support has been especially meaningful during Josiah’s fitness journey, where his discipline and example helped him grow both physically and mentally. Josiah was honored to stand with Joshua on his wedding day and now celebrates their growing family, nieces, and nephews together. Rayna and Sam met in college when Rayna became her roommate, and the two quickly formed a close and meaningful bond of their own. During the two years they lived together, Rayna became one of Sam’s most trusted friends, helping her reconnect with herself and find her voice again. Alongside Taryn, the three formed a tight-knit trio at Kansas State University and still make a point to meet up regularly — now with their husbands — keeping those friendships and traditions alive. We’re so lucky to have her love, support, and friendship with us as we celebrate this day.

Jake isn’t just Samantha’s brother — he’s one of her closest friends and a constant source of support. Being close in age, they’ve grown up side by side, sharing so many of life’s moments together. Jake has always been someone she can count on, no matter what. Jake and Josiah have built a fun, joking relationship over time, but underneath it is a strong sense of respect and care. Sam and Taryn met during their freshman year at Allen County Community College, where they played soccer together and quickly formed a strong bond. From the very beginning, Taryn was always in Sam’s corner — a constant source of encouragement, loyalty, and support. Their friendship remained close as they transferred to Kansas State University, where Taryn helped Sam find Rayna as a roommate. Over the years, they’ve shared countless milestones together, from getting Taryn married to celebrating Rayna’s wedding, and now welcoming Taryn’s first child, her daughter Miley. Having her by our side today means the world, and we’re grateful for every moment we share together.
