When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 3:00. You are welcome to arrive at 2:30 at the earliest!

Who should I contact if I can't find the venue?

Answer

Please figure out how to get to our venue before the wedding day. Detailed directions are here on the website. If you are still unsure, please contact Mikayla or Josiah for direction clarifications before September. Our wedding coordinator will have so much to do and will not have time to direct lots of lost guests the day of the wedding. Emergency venue landline number: 503-567-1142

What should I wear?

Answer

Think foresty, semi-formal wear, but with tennis shoes/chacos/or similar shoes! The ceremony, reception, and after-party are all taking place at "The Trask": Mikayla's family's private property that sits along the Trask River. It is about an acre of grass, hills, beach, river, and bumpy ground in some places. Please respect Mikayla's family's wishes and come in STURDY shoes. NO HEELS will be allowed on the property. We care about your safety!

Our whole registry is right here on our Zola website! Thank you so much for blessing us and our marriage through gifts or finances if you are able to.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to see your kids! However, we are really excited to make our wedding an epic party. If you are able to leave your kids with grandparents or a sitter for the night, in order to fully partake in the party we are creating, we would love that. We will leave the choice up to you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Our main recommendations are the Shilo Inns Tillamook and the Trask River County Campground. We will have a party bus shuttle picking guests up at these two locations, dropping them off at the venue and picking them up again at the end of the night. We have also reserved a block of rooms at the Shilo. Please see the "*IMPORTANT* Travel Info" page for more details on accommodations.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a small, private venue that cannot accommodate very many people. Please help us make sure the only guests coming to our wedding are the ones your invitation is specifically addressed to. We really appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is LIMITED parking at our venue. If you are staying at the Shilo Inns in Tillamook, the Trask River County Campground, or would be able to park at the Shilo in order to take the bus we are renting; PLEASE plan to do so. If you would like to drive yourself to the wedding venue, please indicate so when you RSVP and/or email us and let us know so we know how many cars to plan space for. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Our party bus shuttle will be picking up guests from the Shilo Inns in Tillamook and the Trask River County Campground, and dropping back off at these same locations at the end of the night. Please see the "*IMPORTANT Travel Info" page for more details.
