Jo and Georgia's story began at 5th Grade Camp—a magical woodland escape where students from Manitou Springs Elementary and Ute Pass Elementary came together before venturing into Manitou Springs Middle School. From the moment they met, they created a lasting friendship. Their friendship flourished throughout the school years, growing stronger with every shared laugh and many days spent snowboarding. Fast forward to their early twenties, when Georgia reached out to Jo with a spontaneous plan: a weekend visit to Breckenridge. That visit turned out to be a life-changing decision, because from that weekend on, they were a pair. A year later, they made their first home together in a cozy apartment in Fort Collins, CO, while Georgia completed her undergraduate studies. At this time, their adventure was just beginning. They soon found themselves back in Breckenridge, this time with a lively group of friends in the beloved "Moonstone House." The Breckenridge years were filled with countless nights spent under the stars around campfires, snowy days on Peak 9, endless smiles and drinks shared at the Pub and Grub, and—most importantly—a deepening of their love. In 2021, they moved to their current home in Grand Junction, CO, where they have embraced the stunning desert landscape, the proximity to amazing camping, snowboarding, biking, hiking, and a wonderful community. Their love is truly special—one that makes life better for each other every single day. They look forward to celebrating their official union of love.
