Bride
I was born October 31, 1990 and raised by Valerie and Larry Sr. Armstrong. I have one sister and two amazing brothers. After H.S., I went to Western Michigan University for my undergrad where I obtained my Bachelors Degree. Right after, I decided to pursue my master's at D'youville College with an Occupational Therapy degree. Once I received my license, I moved to Seattle, WA to start my career and soon after met the man of my dreams.
Groom
I was born on January 3rd 1987. My parents are Carrie Norton Blackstock and Jim Griffus. I have 2 brothers. After attending H.S., I took up multiple jobs which lead to my dream job as a Cable Splicer for Seattle City Light. After I met Vanessa, I knew she was the one and no other woman could compare. I am excited to spend the rest of my life with her and start a family of our own.
Maid of Honor
Ashley and I met our sophomore year of college, but we really didn't get to know each other until the spring of 2012. She has been one of my best friends that I can always count on. When we hang out it seems as though we haven't missed a day. From the F-ery moments to the "we gon fight" moments, She has always kept it real. One of my favorite moments with her happened at a Japanese restaurant. The owner watched her take 3 of the free mints when we sat down. Upon leaving the owner walked up to the counter and watched us. Ashley fake grabbed more mints but last minute didn’t which stumped the owner. Best funny moment ever! Over the years Ashley and I have shared countless memories. Ashley has a beautiful spirit and I am glad she said "yes" to being my maid of honor.
Bridesmaid
Virginia and I met August 2012 at D'Youville College and out of all the empty seats in the classroom, she sat next to me! I knew right then and there she was going to be my friend forever! Virginia and I call each other Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker because our friendship is filled with excitement and silly moments. She would always invite me over to her apartment and cook a nice meal for me. She also taught me a valuable cooking lesson and that is how to NOT burn down a kitchen. I've been a professional since! My favorite moment with Virginia is watching movies and eating lots of snacks! Virginia is one of my best friends and i'm glad she is celebrating this special moment with me.
Bridesmaid
Growing up with my sister has been the best and worst times ever (I mean, what are sister’s for?LOL). I remember we would get into really bad arguments. So bad that they turned out to be funny. Every time I got mad at my sister, I would try to go up to hit her, all she would do is extend her arm out on my forehead where I wouldn't be able to reach her, then she'd laugh. Another time was when she kept messing with me on the other side of the bed, as I tried to jump on her, I ended up jumping over here which landed me on the ground, the she’d laugh. As much as we fought, we would love each other harder. My sister would go up and beyond to make sure others were taking care of. My sister is truly amazing and I wouldn't trade her for nothing in the world.
