I'm glad you asked! No, neither bride nor groom are from the area. The location of the reception, Copper Cannon Distillery, is where Josh proposed to Lauren. The distillery is also owned by a friend of ours :)
Dressy-Casual We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The ceremony will take place indoors. However, the reception will be taking place outdoors, on the grass. October in Vermont/New Hampshire will be chilly (around high 40s-60s on average). We recommend dressing warm, bringing a wrap, shawl or coat.
There are some free parking spots on Main St. & Groove St. About 30 ft up Groove St. is a large parking lot (pay to park, but inexpensive). There is limited parking at the reception site. Feel free to leave your car parked at the church. We will have a bus pick up guests from the church, which will depart at 1:40pm. The bus will then head back to the church at 6:40pm. We have been cautioned that because the area is so small, there is virtually no Uber/Lyft. Therefore, we recommend renting a vehicle.
We will be limiting our food to only serve a buffet of tacos with sides (chicken and vegetarian). We will have gluten-free option available. We will offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, open bar. Please reach out to Lauren if you have specific dietary restrictions or allergies that you would like us to be aware of.
Our wedding will allow kids, however the nature of our celebration is tailored more towards adults, and we would like to ensure all our guests can fully relax and enjoy the day. **We kindly request that you ask and verify with Lauren and Josh.
