An iconic place. It's beautiful both day and night. We recommend trying the Ferris wheel and the photo booth, like we did

Try dim sum at Din Tai Fung and walk the beautiful 3rd Street Promenade at night
Urth Caffé
Cute, health-conscious café with great all-day brunch and coffee/matcha latte. We recommend sitting on the patio for the breeze. There's a hidden back patio as well
Santa Monica Seafood Market & Cafe
Poke is popular. We loved other menus too including the clam chowder soup
Tartine Santa Monica
We love the beautiful sun-lit architecture of this place, which was once a church according to my friend :-)
Venice Beach Boardwalk
Would recommend taking a peaceful stroll in the morning or right before the sunset. We can all ride a skateboard in our next life @Venice Skatepark
The Cheesecake Factory
This cheesecake factory is in a beautiful area, where you can take a walk along the marina after a meal. They have an outdoor seating too. Check out nearby Fisherman's Village as well
Griffith Observatory
Featured in the La La Land dance scene! Open until 10 pm. An amazing place where you can see the stars and the skyline of LA. From 7:00 pm–9:30 pm, there is free public telescope observing — let's see if you are able to find Saturn’s rings, as we did!
