What should I wear?

Answer

Sunday best, however our reception will be in an open-aired pavilion in May. Please dress accordingly for the weather.

Question

Who should I ask if I have a question the day of?

Answer

Anyone but the bride! Brooke McHenry and Tanner Insco, our Maid of Honor and Best Man, will be able to answer most of the questions that you have.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No. We have decided as a couple that we want to respect both our beliefs as well as the beliefs of the brides family and will refrain from having alcoholic drinks at the wedding. Also we ask that none be brought to the reception as well. We will be providing plenty of non-alcoholic beverages at the reception for you.

Question

I can't make the wedding, where should I send gifts/well wishes?

Answer

We're sorry that you can't be there! Either contact the bride or groom, or use the return address from your invitations.

Question

My cell phone won't work there?!?

Answer

The Daniel Boone Home is situated in a rural setting. As such, cell phone service is spotty in the parking area and non-existent under and around the pavilion area. Please factor this into your day's plans.

Question

I've got some great pictures of the reception/ceremony, what should I do with them?

Answer

First, we have employed the wonderful Micala Gillen to photograph the event. Please don't feel pressured to take photographs, as she has that angle well covered. If you have a particularly good photo, feel free to share it with the bride or groom via Facebook, text or email.
