FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We have no dress code. We do ask that you keep in mind that this wedding will be taking place in early October, when the weather has a mind of it's own. Plan to dress accordingly. We hope that you wear what you feel most comfortable in. You will most likely be photographed, so we encourage you wear your "Sunday Best".

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with our closest family and friends. Due to our wedding being a small, intimate gathering, we ask that only those addressed on the invitation attend. Thank you all for your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are striving to make this day as fun and relaxing as possible. Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The [Your Last Name] Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs" if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding reception will have a parking lot and overflow parking. We will ensure that all of our guests stay safe, so overnight parking is available. The wedding ceremony will be taking place a couple blocks from our reception venue. Feel free to explore Downtown Hutchinson on the short walk from Art’s Place, otherwise street parking is available in front of the historic chapel.

Question

During the ceremony...

Answer

On days as special as this, we understand that everyone wants to capture the moment. However, we do ask that all cell phones be put on silent and put away during the ceremony. We ask this to avoid obstructions, allowing the photographer the chance to capture the perfect photos, plus we would love to see you all in the moment in our photographs. Thank you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP’s are due no later than August 15th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the bride and groom directly.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time of 4pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm with the reception to immediately follow at Art’s Place
