FAQs

Question

Is your wedding still on for Thursday, December 31?

Answer

YES! Although case numbers are high, they haven't spiked nearly as high as they were expected to following Thanksgiving. This leads us to believe that as long as we're all careful and follow proper precautions, we can have our wedding reasonably safely. Remember to keep your mask on, distance as much as possible, and use sanitizer often while you are here. :)

Question

Will you livestream your ceremony?

Answer

Yes! With everything going on we weren't able to include everyone we love! We will host a livestream for family and friends who cannot be in attendance. Zoom Information: http://bit.ly/zinnwedding Meeting ID: 833 8732 8710 Passcode: Zinn

Question

Are face coverings required for guests?

Answer

Yes! Emmalee's grandparents have generously offered to host our wedding at their home, but it is up to all of our guests to wear masks to keep her grandparents healthy. You can of course, remove them when eating and drinking if you are appropriately socially distanced.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. While we would normally love to include everyone's significant other, COVID-19 concerns have put restrictions on who are able to invite to our wedding. The invitation to attend only extends to those who explicitly received an invitation.

Question

Will you cancel your wedding if COVID cases continue to rise?

Answer

Because our wedding is very small and limited to a few family members and close friends, we believe it will be possible to hold the wedding safely as long as we follow proper precautions. If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19 concerns, we completely understand - Health and safety come first. Please just text one of us an let us know.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We're asking folks to dress on the dressy side of casual. (Think party or church clothes) We want everyone to be comfortable, but we want our wedding photos to look great, too!
