Unfortunately, the answer is no. We would have loved to invite many more people to our wedding. But, budget and health concerns (pandemic) have kept the invitation list small and intimate. Our venue location is for only 40 people, including us :), so we've chosen our closest friends and dearest family. We hope you all understand and are able to celebrate with us!!
Since the wedding is on a Sunday, the restaurant at Joseph Ambler Inn is not open on Mondays. There is a great deli / breakfast spot called Pumpernicks nearby. If there is interest, I am sure we could meet up for breakfast. https://pumpernicksdeli.com/
Joshua and I are staying at the Inn on Saturday night (06/04/2022) also. There is no rehearsal or rehearsal dinner, but we would be happy to have dinner and a drink at the JAI with any of you! Hope to see you there!!
We are having a first look prior to the ceremony, starting at 1 pm. If our family including parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews could be available at 2 pm, we would appreciate it. We can get a majority of the family photographs completed prior to the ceremony, and that way we could all relax and enjoy the happy hour :)
Although there isn't a dress code, I would appreciate no jeans. The guys could wear a dress shirt and dress pants / khakis, suit jackets are not required. And ladies could wear dresses or nice slacks. Think relaxed garden party :)
Since our wedding is quite small, I have a dream to get a group photo. Inside the John Robert's house, there is a wonderful staircase. After the happy hour but before the sit down dinner, at approximately 5pm the photographer may ask us all to assemble on the stairs for a group photo.
