Weather in Charlottesville VA in October is beautiful! The average temperature is high 68 degrees and low 47 degrees. The fall leaves will begin to turn colors this time of the year. Charlottesville is a beautiful place to experience the crisp fall air. We advise bringing a jacket, umbrella (in case of rain), and comfortable shoes to wear outside.
The ceremony will be located at the Barn and Pavilion outside in front of the willow tree and pond. The cocktail reception will follow the ceremony and take place in the cocktail room and patio area. Both ceremony and reception are located in the same location. Reception for guests will end at approximately 3 pm with a send off. Family members of both the bride and groom will remain for a two hour dinner reception.
Both. The ceremony will take place outside in front of the willow tree and pond on the property. If there is bad weather the ceremony will relocate to inside the barn hall. The cocktail reception will follow in the cocktail room in the barn and patio area.
The bride and groom will be joined with family and friends immediately following the ceremony for refreshments and hors d'oeuvres for two hours.
Yes. Our colors are gold, ballet pink and burgundy. Our theme is ballerina style with a soft elegant feel and romance.
The bride and groom will be having an intimate prayer and blessing ceremony prior to the start of the ceremony with family only and an intimate dinner reception to follow the cocktail reception for family. There will be no other events for guests.
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'no' so we can plan accordingly. You are more than welcome to be part of our special day by going to our registry and contributing with a gift if you wish. Thank you!
The venue is fairly easy to navigate to. Please put in the address for the Trump Winery Office, Barn and Pavilion. Please put the address 100 Grand Cru Drive Charlottesville VA 22902 into your smart phone.
We recommend that you arrive an 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled! Please refer to the 'SCHEDULE' tab for more information on exact times.
Parking will be provided in front of the Barn and on the grass.
