Sedgwick County Zoo
Visiting Zoo's is one of our favorite things to do! Of all the Zoo's we've visited so far, Josh thinks the Sedgwick County Zoo is the best! https://www.scz.org/
Tanganyika Wildlife Park
Looking for a more interactive Zoo experience? Look no further than Tanganyika. Thought feeding the giraffes was cool? Try feeding the lemurs, rhinos, or hippos! Better yet, pet a kangaroo or a ride a camel! Tanganyika is a little pricier, but is definitely worth the experience!
All Star Sports
Looking to compete in some mini-golf (Andrea's Favorite!!), go-karts, bumper boats, and more? Check out All Star Sports! Jeremy (Andrea's brother) worked there all through high school, so ask him for suggestions! Also, there are two of them in Wichita. One real close to the hotel and one on the other side of town, so check out their website to see which one interests you most.
Exploration Place
Exploration place is a great place for kids and adults a like. With rotating exhibits and lots of hands on science activities you can easily pass several hours here!
The Keeper of the Plains
Take a stroll downtown to check out the 44 foot tall statue that watches over Wichita. If you head down there at night make sure you stop by at 9 pm, so you can catch it when the ring of fire is all lit up.
