Sandy River Getaway, located at 64297 E Brightwood Loop Rd, Brightwood, OR 97011. This serene and secluded venue sits along the picturesque banks of the Sandy River, just outside of Mt. Hood. The property includes four modern cabins, where our wedding party and immediate family will be staying.
The welcome dinner on Friday, 6/26 is our first event of the weekend and it is open to all guests. See Schedule page for event details. Please note: Attendance to the Welcome Dinner is required for designated family members and wedding party. Those guests must arrive no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, 6/26. You are welcome to come earlier, as we will have access to the entire property starting Friday morning.
Designated family members and wedding party can stay an extra night on Sunday, 6/28 and say farewells on Monday, 6/29 as we have the cabins booked up until Monday morning at 11 AM. You can also leave Sunday, 6/28 at any time. It is up to you!
We have a limited number of parking spots at the venue. Coordinating rental cars or car pooling is highly recommended.

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.
Both the ceremony and reception will be outside.
The wedding calls for cocktail attire! Late June tends to be warmer in the day, but it's the Pacific Northwest, so come prepared for anything! We recommend bringing warm layers for cooler temperatures at night. The ceremony will be in a forest on wood chips, and the reception will be on the grassy lawn with a dance floor, so wear appropriate footwear.
On the wedding day, we'll be serving a BBQ dinner with salads, sides and mains. To drink, there will be an open bar with signature cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Sweet and savory s'mores will be provided later in the evening.
If your invitation did not already include a guest, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Should your originally invited guest be unable to attend, feel free to invite another companion in their place.
Yes! The day before our wedding is our welcome dinner and rehearsal. The day after our wedding is a relaxed post-wedding celebration. All guests are invited to both events. Please see Schedule page for more information.
This is a strictly non-smoking venue (indoors and outdoors). The newly weds will be charged a $1,000 minimum fee for smoking in unauthorized areas. If you need to smoke, please do so inside your own vehicle only. A $100 fee will be charged per cigarette butt left on the property.
