After Thea and Josh reunited, the future was full of color and excitement. It wasn’t too long before the two started talking about the next chapter. 

After meticulous ring selection and expert council, Josh proposed on New Years Eve at the Alterier Playa Mujeres in Mexico. He planned for a beach front proposal, but travel woes and the longest travel day ever, forced his hand. And nerves. 

Surrounded by the #noshoesnewyears girls, Josh got down on one knee and spoke from the heart. Still wearing her travel clothes, Thea’s first words were, “I’m wearing a sweatshirt.”
