Josh and Thea met at one of their favorite bars in NYC, 13 years ago. He was on a bar stool and she walked in with her favorite wing woman, Kim. Josh said to himself and anyone who would listen, "That is the prettiest girl I have ever seen, look at those gorgeous blue eyes!” Love at first sight does exist. Josh worked very hard to get Thea's attention that night, from casual conversation to lines from Thea's favorite show, the Wizard of Oz, "I'm afraid there's no denyin', I'm just a dandy-lion,” and “Put ‘em up, put ‘em up, gruff grruuufff!” A few months of dating ended when Thea moved away from the city for a new job. They lost touch and moved on with their respective lives. Fast forward 10 years, and Thea was sitting at their favorite bar solo one night and texted Josh out of the blue. It wasn’t long after Josh and Thea knew they had something special and worth fighting long distance for. They danced in Thea's kitchen on the Upper West Side, escaped to the beach as often as possible and belly laughed at the little things. Apparently, fairytales do exist. And they are very excited to begin the “happily ever after" part of the story with their friends and family surrounding them with love.
