In Montana, it can snow in July, so we're not making any promises! The almanac says the average high is 63 and the average low is 36. But the temperature can vary widely during the day. Once the sun goes down, be prepared for a chilly evening.
Yep. Just to be safe, you may want to bring a raincoat or an umbrella, too. Like we said, you just never know in Montana. Some friends of ours got married in July at Chico and it snowed on them. Sigh. We're hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. :)
Yes, or carpool. The Bozeman Airport is about 45 minutes away from Chico and there is no public transport.
It's a fairly rustic, but charming place. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms. They do have wifi that projects from the Main Lodge, but the signal gets weaker the further you go out. Dining-wise, they have a great restaurant for breakfast and a casual poolside grill for lunch. The saloon also serves the grill menu for lunch and dinner. The saloon is a great place for gathering, games (pool/darts), and they have live music every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm-1am. Kids are welcome in the saloon before 9pm.
