We met in the most romantic way possible - online. After a few cleverly written emails if we do say so ourselves in which Susan jokingly proposed marriage, we decided to meet. Our first date was at Open Range and Susan thought Josh was pretty cute, but sure did talk a lot. Which is funny. If you know him. It wasn't much longer before we were a regular item. Josh attended plays and Susan's band gigs like church. Susan willingly watched Grateful Dead documentaries, and eventually, Josh was introduced to the kids. He marked the day in his calendar. It's their Kidiversary. The love grew and grew, and one day as we were flying somewhere together, Susan turned to Josh and said she'd never loved someone so much and felt so loved in return. Josh said the same. The kids now call Josh Vice Mom and are known to exclaim, "Yes! Josh is home!" when they see his truck in the garage at the end of the day. On Sundays, Josh makes Italian sausage and peppers with the best garlic bread Charlie's ever tasted. Just ask him. In February of 2019, we were walking down a beach in Maui when Josh proposed. We were alone at the moment, but the next day a stranger pulled us aside and said she'd been looking for us since the day before. She witnessed the proposal and took a picture. "Where are you from?" Susan asked. "Montana," she said. Susan now actually likes the Grateful Dead and when it comes to plays, Josh prefers the comedies. We love each other's families and friends and are incredibly excited to bring their oldest and dearest friends together for this day. Thanks for joining us.
