Maid of Honor
If I had to describe Paige in one word, it would be "exceptional." But since one word isn’t nearly enough to capture her awesomeness, let me elaborate. She is my best friend, my twin flame, the person who understands me to a molecular level—and yes, she’s also the one who can make me laugh until I cry and has been by my side through awkward moments, bad decision, and triumphs in life. She’s the kindest, funniest, and most intelligent person I know, and somehow manages to be effortlessly gorgeous inside and out (like, how is she real?). She’s the one who always has my back, no matter how big or small the situation. Whether it’s offering a shoulder to cry on, giving the best advice, or just knowing exactly when to make me laugh, she’s been my rock. I truly can’t imagine my life without her—and I’m beyond lucky to have her as my maid of honor. No one else would understand all my quirks or put up with my craziness quite the way she does. She is, without a doubt, the person I would choose again and again to stand beside me on this big day.
Best Man
Over the years, Matt has become not just my best friend but my brother—someone I can always count on, no matter what life throws our way. He’s been my most loyal and supportive friend through thick and thin, always there when I need him, whether it’s for advice, a laugh, or just some time to hang out and watch sports over a whiskey. And let’s not forget the time I knocked his front tooth out just hours before he left to South Carolina for his freshman year of college (yep, that happened). Despite the mishap, we set up a 4 AM search party, found the tooth, and he forgave me without a second thought, proving just how big-hearted and forgiving he truly is. Through all the highs, lows, and “oops” moments, he’s stood by me, and I honestly can’t imagine going through life without him by my side—and for that, I’m beyond grateful. Last year, he honored me by asking me to officiate his wedding. This year, I want to honor him in return and have him by my side on the most important day of my life. It is also a convenient opportunity to show all our friends and family that I, and not Matt, am the taller friend. So, here’s to the guy who’s been with me through everything, the one who still forgives me for knocking his tooth out, and the one I’m proud to call my best friend for life.
