We are beyond thrilled to celebrate our special day at the Rubell Museum, not only because it's the perfect venue but because it holds a special place in our hearts. This museum is home to an incredible private collection of contemporary art, curated with passion and vision by the Rubell family. Their generosity in sharing this breathtaking collection with the world is truly inspiring. Beyond the art, the Rubell family is simply the best—kind, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful people who have made our experience here even more special. We’re so lucky to have this extraordinary museum as the backdrop to our wedding, and we can’t wait for you to experience it too!
Superblue Miami in Allapattah is a 50,000-square-foot playground of immersive installations that invite you to be the art. (Bonus: it is also across the street from the Rubell Museum). From floating through digital waterfalls to watching your heartbeat light up a room, it's like stepping into a dream you can touch, feel, and even change. Wander through Es Devlin’s mirrored maze, get lost in teamLab’s ever-shifting digital worlds, or experience James Turrell’s mesmerizing light installations. It’s a sensory overload in the best way possible—perfect for a pre-wedding adventure or a post-celebration wind-down. Just a heads-up: the experience is so captivating, you might forget to check your phone for a while. But don’t worry, your Instagram will thank you later.
Philly fam, we know nothing compares to a proper cheesesteak from back home—but trust us when we say Peppi’s Pizza in Miami comes real close. Located in the Design District, this local gem is slinging cheesesteaks stacked with juicy ribeye and gooey Cooper Sharp, all tucked into a sesame hoagie roll that’ll make you do a double take. Chef Ryan McKeown (yep, Below Deck fans will know him) is a Philly native bringing that unmistakable South Philly flavor to the 305. It’s bold to claim the “best cheesesteak in Miami,” but hey—this one might actually earn your nod of approval. So if you're missing home while you're down for the wedding, Peppi's has got your back (and your taste buds). 💛🏙️🥩
Unbelievable ambiance and great service. This is Miami’s new hot spot and this place is a vibe. Think juicy steaks, buttery sides, perfect cocktails—and zero pretension. Sunny’s is one of our go-to date night spots in Miami, and we love it so much we almost tried to host the wedding there (kidding… mostly). If you’re in town and hungry, this is the move.
If you have a little extra time in Miami, Vizcaya is 100% worth a visit. It’s a gorgeous historic estate with dreamy gardens, waterfront views, and serious old-world romance vibes. We didn’t get married here—but we definitely considered it! Great for a peaceful afternoon stroll or some very Instagram-worthy moments.
If smoky, saucy, fall-off-the-bone goodness sounds like your kind of pre- or post-wedding snack (or full-on feast), Hometown Bar-B-Que in Allapattah is your holy grail. Think giant beef ribs, brisket that practically melts when you look at it, and tacos that will make you question your life choices (in the best way possible).
Craving authentic New York-style pizza? Eleventh Street Pizza in Downtown Miami is a must-visit and one of our go-to pizza places in Miami. Founded by a born-and-bred New Yorker, this spot offers thin, crispy slices and thick, airy Sicilian squares, all made with a sourdough starter that's been nurtured for over seven years. Their signature Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza, topped with Calabrian chili paste and honey, has earned rave reviews and even landed them on Time Out's list of the best pizzas in the world .
Craving bold, spicy, and mouthwatering Thai food? Lung Yai Thai Tapas is the spot! Located in la Calle Ocho, this cozy gem serves up Thai tapas that pack a punch—flavors so bold, they might just knock your socks off (don’t say we didn’t warn you). From crispy shrimp to flavorful curries and sizzling stir-fries, Lung Yai is perfect for sharing—so gather your crew, order a bunch of plates, and prepare for a flavor explosion. Bonus points if you dare to try their signature spicy dishes that’ll make your taste buds dance!
An LA transplant, Jon & Vinny made it to Miami. Imagine LA vibes, but with more humidity and less parking. It’s where we go when we want carbs, chaos, and the occasional celebrity sighting (or at least someone who looks like they might be TikTok famous). Go for the spicy fusilli, stay for the chocolate chip cookies that might change your life!
