We met at our church, HVPC on a July Sunday in 2017. Josh's first Sunday was my (Rosie's) last Sunday before I moved to Berlin. I came home six months later, remet Josh, and decided we would be friends: After church one day, I walked up to Josh and said, "Hey, let's be friends." To his credit, Josh was unperturbed and immediately on board. That summer our friendship grew with lots of adventures in the Pennypack Trust, Quizzo at the local bar, and gathering friends together. Around the end of September, Josh invited me to Longwood Gardens with his family and at the end of the evening, in the middle of a field full of lanterns, he turned and kissed me! It might as well have been right out of a rom-com; it was perfect. The next year of dating was full of traveling together, spending loads of time with each others families, and tackling challenges like the Pittsburgh marathon together!
The day after our anniversary, we went to Celtic Fest in Bethlehem, where in front of many family members and friends, Josh proposed to me. We were watching Poor Man's Gambit play when Josh asked me to dance. After the dance, Josh pulled me up on stage. He had changed the words to my favorite celtic song to tell the story of our first kiss.
