Nora's favorite food is banh mi and this place does it right with their pate. Get the special!
Nora's favorite bakery growing up. Josh's favorite item is the sweet bread (no raisins). Can't go wrong with the egg tarts or bbq buns either. They also have a location in Chinatown, but this is our favorite to visit.
Went on multiples dates here for Korean bbq wings
There are multiple locations, but this was our go-to spot after walking around the city all day
Diner/delicatessen in the South loop. Shortened their hours since Covid started, so be sure to check their limited hours before heading over! Everything is good here, but definitely get the cheese fries.
Josh always gets the chicken burrito. Nora gets the steak burrito or steak tacos
If you're not afraid of raw onions, get the snow chicken. One of our go-to spots when we visit Nora's family. Multiple locations in the Chicagoland area.
One of our first dates where we found out that we are both huge nerds. Probably our favorite museum in Chicago
Josh and I have been to ALL of the museums on Museum Campus, but this is one of our favorites. Josh's favorite famous painting displayed here is "Nighthawks". You can also check out other famous paintings like "American Gothic" or "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte".
Japanese Market with full food court. Get the matcha soft-serve ice cream
The mall is so big that they even have a free trolley to take you to different parts of the mall
Great gyros!
Not as cheap as Michigan dispensaries, but this one is close to the huge mall in the 'burbs. Where Nora's mom, Chine, let's Josh use her "senior" discount
The most random food truck in the suburbs, but has the best tacos! Learned about it through my cousin TD and mama Chine says it's her favorite of all time.
The ice cream here is almost too cute to eat
