Josh and Nora met at a popular dance/piano bar at Purdue called The Neon Cactus. Nora spotted Josh on the dancefloor and casually approached him but Josh didn't even see her! It wasn't until his friend, Nick, let Josh know that there was a girl that wanted to dance with him that Josh finally looked down and saw her.

Nora moved in with Josh into his Carmel, Indiana apartment in 2019. They survived Covid together in 2020. Then they bought their first house together in the Broad Ripple neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana in June 2021. They adopted a puppy together named Benjamin "Benji" Sweet Potato together in February 2023. Josh and Nora both enjoy watching movies, spoiling Benji, reading, hanging out with friends, playing boardgames, hosting barbeques and Halloween parties, going out to eat, kayaking, camping, and traveling. Josh also enjoys rock climbing/bouldering and playing DnD/Warhammer 40K. Nora also enjoys cross-stitching and using her Cricut machine gifted from Chris & Deb Longawa.
