Shuttles
Answer
Shuttles will pick up at Hotel Ballast and Courtyard Marriott around 4pm and 4:50pm; they will pick up at Hampton Inn around 4:20pm and 5:10pm. Shuttle service back to hotels will begin at 10pm and run continuously until the end of the night.

Where is the wedding?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Wrightsville Manor, located at 1952 Allens Ln, Wilmington, NC 28403. That's Wilmington, NORTH CAROLINA. Please don't travel to Delaware. There are separate sections of this website containing hotel block information and travel recommendations.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal attire is requested for our wedding. For the Friday night welcome reception, the dress code is "upscale casual."
Question
I am flying in. Will I need to rent a car?
Answer
Not necessarily. If you are flying into Wilmington International Airport, an Uber or cab ride from the airport to any of our hotels should be quick and inexpensive (and Hotel Ballast offers complimentary airport shuttle service). Those staying in downtown Wilmington will find walkable options for shopping and dining. If you are flying into other airports such as Raleigh-Durham International (RDU), it may be necessary to rent a car to complete the journey to Wilmington. Guests staying at the Hampton Inn may also prefer to have cars, as this hotel is in a less walkable area.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
We have arranged for shuttle buses to transport guests between all three of our wedding hotels and Wrightsville Manor. This option is open to all guests and strongly encouraged in particular for those who plan to imbibe during the reception. For guests who would prefer to drive their own vehicles, Wrightsville Manor has a free parking lot. To avoid having your car ticketed or towed, do not park along the side of the road or outside of the venue's clearly marked parking lot.
