Where to stay

Winters has two large hotels, Hotel Winters, and the Fairfield Inn and Suites Winters Davis (be aware there is a nearby city named Fairfield, so double check that you are booking in Winters!). There is also a small number of fancy guest houses and very limited Airbnbs. For more budget friendly accommodations, there are plenty of chain hotels or Airbnbs in Vacaville (about 25 minutes from the farm) or Davis (35 minutes from the farm). For those of you who are so inclined, there is plenty of space to camp either in tents or in vans and you'll likely get to fall sleep to the hooting of the owls and howling of the coyotes. If you are tent camping, please arrive early so you can find a spot in daylight hours.

Air Travel

The closest airport to Winters is Sacramento. It is a 45 minute drive outside of commute times. San Francisco and Oakland airports are about 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

Places to eat

There are several good restaurants in Downtown Winters. Putah Creek Cafe serves excellent casual breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Buckhorn Steakhouse is worth a dinner visit if massive steaks and taxidermy are your thing. Ficelle and Carboni's are also nice dinner options. For a quick breakfast bite and coffee, head to Steady Eddy's. If you're in the market for a good pint, Berryessa Brewinig is your spot. They also usually have a food truck.
