Maid of Honor
We spontaneously met freshman year at UW Seattle in 2013, both on our way to skip our chemistry class to eat and study at the By George cafe. Since then, we've built our friendship so closely that we became roommates and shared a full sized bed (!) our junior year in college. Queenie & I can talk for literal hours, sometimes even when we’re in the brink of sleep. My favorite memory with Queenie is when we spontaneously decided to go to Oahu in 2021 and got to watch the sunrise and sunsets by the beach and rode ATVs.
Best Man
the Man with a laugh you can hear from across the room, Nick and I first met freshman year of college where we quickly bonded over spending all day at the IMA working out and playing tennis shirtless in the quad. We then went on to room together for the rest of college, but it was mainly sharing a tiny closet sized room our junior year that 'crammed' our friendship into a lifelong bond. My favorite memories include watching the latest pre-premiere Marvel movie in theaters right after large group, driving at midnight to Bonneville to catch shad, and the Jigglypuff-Ganondorf battles on Final Destination.
Maid of Honor
Annmarie & I met online on April 2013 through the UW Roommates page on Facebook. We quickly bonded on our love for K-Pop, Running Man, tennis, and had the same career goal at the time. We both hoped to find a bff in the Roommates page and found that in each other! We ended up being roomies throughout our whole college career. She’s the only one that makes me laugh so much that I get a headache and has to physically separate myself from her, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My favorite moments with Annmarie involve meeting Jay Park, boiling point dates, double dates with Nick H. & Josh, and going to South Korea in 2023.
Groomsman
the Man with the kindest soul and the best alter-ego, I first met Nick through Maria at Japonessa on a triple date, and although I had just met him, Nick's warm and welcoming demeanor made it feel like I had known him my whole life. While we would hang out on double dates and group trips, it wasn't until our solo tennis dates that we really developed a close friendship outside of the girls planning. My favorite memories include the side quests at Coachella & EDC, exploring Seoul and Jeju, and getting W's on Marvel Rivals.
Bridesmaid
“Ate Badeth" as I call her - my cousin, my first and longest friend. We grew up together in the Philippines and fought a lot as kids. We would pull each other’s hairs and then play with our barbies like nothing happened. Once we moved to the US, we became inseparable as we had to lean on each other and became best friends! She has been the older sister I needed and I know I can rely on her and she will always have my back. My favorite memories with her consist of random chore days, shopping dates to the outlet mall, and more recently, tea parties with her daughter Gianna.
Groomsman
the Man with the biggest biceps I know, I have known Enoch before the bodybuilder transformation, dating back to when we were kids. But it wasn't until a sleepover in the 6th grade that we started becoming friends. I don't think a word was spoken to each other that night, but a lifelong friendship was made from only playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 all night. Since then my favorite memories include the Snoqualmie deli then working out, snowboarding all day, and having omakase in Tokyo.
Bridesmaid
Nicoleen & I met at a FASA (Filipino Club) event at UW. We were both shy so we naturally were comfortable to be shy together. I remember we went to a FASA olympics in Oregon and started to get closer and then we just focused on our friendship and left FASA LOL. Since then, she’s been one of my best friends and a good tita to Michi pups. My favorite memories with Nicoleen involve all the times we traveled together! From taking the bus from UW to Jollibee in Tukwila, to taking the night bus from Seattle to Vancouver, BC, and to the summer in Europe where we secretly ate all the seafood we can.
Groomsman
the Man who went from lip-syncing Backstreet Boys at Youth Camp to preaching at Youth Camp, I have known Eckhart or DaBomb19 since childhood but we primarily became friends as we were team Xbox while all the others were on PC. From the numerous sleepovers to the late night happy hours at Applebees, my time in high school wouldn't have been the same without Eckhart's love of fun and deep thoughts. My favorite memories include playing duck hunt in Halo all night, performing as ROGBIV at youth camp, and catching spiders in Josh Wong's basement before going to St. Kitts.
Bridesmaid
Melinda and I met in middle school and she is one of my very first friends in the USA after I immigrated from the Philippines at age 12. With her bubbly and outgoing personality, she helped me break out of my shy shell and I was able to comfortably socialize more. From choir events, school field trips, selfie & mall dates, early 20s Vegas trips, and to spontaneous Canada drives, I have been lucky to have Melinda by my side and I’m sure we will continue to grow old together too.
Groomsman
the Man with the best beard and long hair I know, I first met Naoki my freshman year at UW, but it wasn't until I was getting crossed over by him on the court and on 2k that I really got to know him. Through the numerous late night NBA2k sessions to the early morning IMA basketball workouts, our bond only strengthened when we lead a small group together in our Christian college group. My favorite memories include the late night WOW and Hawaiian BBQ runs on the Ave, winning the EBA championship, and generously hosting me when I visited LA.
Bridesmaid
I met Michelle at the quad at UW through Annmarie, and we instantly became besties. Michelle has the biggest heart and is always so kind and caring. We've had so many crazy fun adventures together, like hitting up concerts, EDC, Coachella, Disneyland, and I just know we'll keep making amazing memories, even when we're older. One of my favorite moments with Michelle is when Annmarie and she took me to my very first concert to see Justin Bieber in 2016. We sang our hearts out, lost our voices, and a core memory was made.
Groomsman
the Man that came up with the idea of rocking a bowl cut for senior year of high school but bailed leaving me stuck with perfect bangs, I have known Alvin since junior high, but it wasn't until he showed up at ECC Redmond one day that I got to really know him. Since then our friendship only grew through high school and from living together in Wilsonian during college. My favorite memories include playing Farkle with a certain chocolate milk punishment, starting a short-lived 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' band in HS, and exploring Seoul post-graduation.
