With a depth of Christ's love that is truly one in a million, Lauren has become Liz's gal for deep questions, honest perspectives, and re-orienting to the things that matter most. Hundreds of hours of discussion, prayer, laughter, and kitchen dance music have become some of Liz's sweetest memories in life.

Liz received her first "real-life sister" via Keri. Despite growing up in PA, she quickly accepted the styles of the South, which at times have included catching muddy pigs, appreciating explosives, and agreeing to jeep adventures. She brought sophistication, the game of croquet, and a wave of "girl power" that Liz had long been rooting for in the male-dominated Bostic family. The combination of Keri's strength, gifting, and gracious presence brought a quick friendship and a deep level of respect. Don't be misled by her fashion, elegance, or classy nature; if given any opportunity for competition, she'll jump right in with all her might.

It didn't take long for Liz to realize Emily was God's miracle to the family. Whether it was because of her courage to marry Liz's youngest brother, Stephen, or her willingness to adapt and love at all costs, she quickly became more than a sister-in-law to Liz. Their friendship has grown deep through life's challenges and the ability to laugh at all the nuances of the Bostic tribe. Her continual willingness to talk through the details of life, reminisce on the past, or brainstorm ways to love the family better has brought Liz a great source of comfort and companionship. She is bold, confident, full of joy, and wise beyond her years, so when Liz's brother, Joseph, decided he wanted to marry her, Liz was a full-blown enthusiast. The way Brooke has carried the Lord's love into the Bostic family has made her new sister-in-law's status undeniably from above. As engaged couples looking into the future, they brainstorm plans for ski slopes, mountains, and motorcycle rides. Brooke has been one of Liz's greatest blessings and answers to prayer from the moment she walked into the family.

Mir and Liz met early in their nursing careers during hospital orientation in Greenville, SC. It was a friendship with an instant bond that quickly developed deep roots. Traveling, workouts, coffee walks, mid-day treat deliveries, and long chats on the big things of life built a sisterhood-style friendship. Mir has been one of Liz's most consistent cheerleaders by showing her commitment to climbing any peak or valley. Catch Mir at the wedding if you need a good laugh or a free-style dance partner. She'll be in Liz's world for "Medicare and beyond."

Common ground came quickly for Morgan and Liz. With the camaraderie of independent spirits and deep-thinking values, finding ways to enjoy life together wasn't difficult. In August 2015, in the small town of Anderson, SC, Liz N. arrived from Florida and Liz B. from Ohio as transfers from outside universities. Being too cool to join the Freshman/Sophomore club but not cool enough to fling themselves on their established junior class, the Liz duo decided they'd create their own club. Target and Chick-fil-A were the staples that launched a lifetime friendship. Despite being across the country, Liz N. has remained a consistent sister. A guaranteed laugh, word of encouragement, or reminder about the need for "free spirit" living, She knows Liz B. deeply and has stayed committed through changing seasons.

Kayla and Liz merged worlds in junior high at Alpine Bible camp and have remained with each other through each phase of life to follow. Their memories of "wilderness survival training," campfire worship, camp counseling, and college football weekends kept the two close though miles apart. Kayla is the gal who consistently sees and reminds Liz of God's faithfulness, is ready to provide prayer or a word of encouragement, and is always happy to burst out into song or hilarious impersonation.

Camp nursing in Manchester, MD, during the summer of 2017 was the avenue for Liz and Kayla to link arms. Knowing minimal about the role of a nurse and yet being tasked with caring for hundreds of wild campers forged a deep love and a load of hilarious memories. Through hikes, late-night bunk chats, and hammock swinging, Kayla has given Liz a deeper understanding of the grace and steadfastness of the Lord. From college to ER nursing and into motherhood, Kayla has continued to walk with Liz and reveal the truths of Christ she spoke of during those late-night cabin discussions.

Wearing the Aura of Liz's mom, Jenny, she's become a safe and peaceful place for Liz to find healing and joy as they sit in a shared love for ice cream or plan their next girl night together.

Stephen and Josh quickly connected during their first year on Binghamton’s golf team. They shared in their pursuit of golf and knowing the Lord while getting each other through the perils of economics class. Stephen is Josh's first phone call for Bible discussion, life dilemmas, or business dreams. He holds the self-proclaimed title of best hands on the green and is the most consistent friend to check in on Josh’s head and heart. He is Josh’s best man.

Jonathan is Josh's long-term golf student, jack of all trades, and carries the heart of a servant, so you'll want to find a way to engage with him at the wedding. If nothing else, he's never turned down an opportunity to show the world some home-spun moves on the dance floor.

The first to call when help is needed and the last to walk out on a complicated dilemma, he'll stick with you until the job is done and likely find a way to sell you a "bargain" in the process.
