For those looking to rent a car in Austin, we recommend renting directly from one of the many rental car companies at AUS Airport, for convenience. Aloft Austin Southwest

For everyone's convenience, we've arranged a room block at the Aloft by Marriott in South Austin, offering a rate of $169 per night. While not near to the venue, it provides an affordable option near our apartment and convenient airport access. Please reserve your room by the August 20th deadline to secure this rate. If the block fills, please contact us for potential additional availability. We spent our first night in Austin at this hotel!

Getting around Austin is a breeze with numerous rental car options available right at the airport. We've found Alamo to be reliable, but feel free to explore and find the perfect fit for the trip. To truly experience the 'everything's bigger' spirit of Texas and venture beyond the city center, having your own car is definitely the way to go.

Its prime location in downtown Austin makes it a great choice for exploring the city's culture and nightlife.
