When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the beautiful Barr Mansion (10463 Sprinkle Rd, Austin, TX 78754). We can't wait to celebrate this special day with all of you!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Please RSVP on our website under the RSVP tab as soon as you know your plans. A little note—our ceremony time isn’t set in stone just yet and may shift by an hour as we finalize the details. We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated!

What is the RSVP cut off date?

Answer

To ensure we have everything perfectly planned, please RSVP no later than June 30, 2025. We truly appreciate your prompt response and look forward to sharing this special day with you!

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by June 30, 2025, we will assume you are unable to attend and will mark you as 'No.' We’ll truly miss celebrating with you!

Do I need a visa to travel to the US?

Answer

A foreign national traveling to the United States for tourism needs a visitor visa (B-2 or combined B1/B2) unless qualifying for entry under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Those who qualify for entry under the VWP must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel. What city should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying directly into Austin if possible for the easiest travel experience. However, if you're arriving in Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio, feel free to rent a car and drive to Austin instead of booking another flight. What day should I plan to arrive in Austin?

Answer

We recommend planning your travel for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday morning, as we’d love to spend some quality time with you on Friday evening and Saturday before the wedding (more details to come!). For our family and friends traveling from Europe and the Middle East, we know it’s a long journey, so we suggest giving yourself some extra time to adjust to the time difference.

Are there any pre-wedding events?

Yes, join us for some pre-wedding celebrations on Friday, September 19th, and Saturday, September 20th—more details to come on the Schedule tab! Thank you for your patience and excitement—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What area should I stay in?

Answer

We recommend looking at Airbnbs and hotels in Downtown Austin, where you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars, conveniences, and activities. If you'd like to stay close to us, check for accommodations in Sunset Valley. In that case, we do recommend renting a car for your stay. For more information, see the Travel & Accommodation tab.

How do I get around Austin?

Answer

Ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft are available for your convenience. If you'd prefer to rent a car, there are plenty of options at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only those stated on the invitation are invited. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be addressed to '[Your Name] & [Guest Name].' We kindly ask that you bring only the guest specified.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love for everyone to join us in formal attire. Suits and gowns, as well as cocktail dresses. Please no jeans, denim, or sneakers.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place both indoors and outdoors. In the event of bad weather, we’ll move everything indoors to ensure everyone stays comfortable.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, but we encourage you to use Uber or Lyft if you plan on drinking. Please be aware that Texas has strict laws regarding drinking and driving, so we want everyone to get home safely.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

To help us stay fully present in the moment, we will be having an 'unplugged' ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off or silence all phones during the ceremony. We've hired an amazing photographer to capture this special time, and we’ll be happy to share the photos with you once we have them. During cocktail hour and the reception, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like!

Are children invited to attend the wedding?

Answer

We absolutely love children, but for our special day, we kindly ask that our wedding ceremony and reception be for adults-only. We appreciate your understanding and support! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the celebration, including the food! Our menu will feature clearly marked gluten-free and vegan options. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. A quick note—Barr Mansion has a shared kitchen, so while the team takes every precaution, there is a chance of cross-contamination. Please note that not all allergies can be fully accommodated, so if you have severe allergies, please let us know as soon as possible!
