Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Heather Nadolny and Josh Whisenant
Ready to explore? Here are some fun spots near our wedding.

Old Town

Winchester, VA 22601

Winchester has a main little downtown with a lot of shops and restaurants, including handmade items, stained glass, video games, vintage toys, ice cream, and more. It's nice to walk around in any season.

Winchester Brew Works

320 North Cameron Street, Winchester, VA 22601

This is our venue, and just a fun spot for a beer, video games, and friendly faces, so we have to give it an additional plug. :)

Hopscotch Coffee & Records

250 Millwood Avenue, Winchester, VA 22601

This record shop looks really fun! Stay tuned for recs when we go.

Oak Stone Craft Pizza and Bar

1000 Valley Avenue, Winchester, VA 22601

This is a tasty Italian restaurant that we went to with Maria before our dessert tasting - salads, pizzas, all good! Hope you enjoy it.

Jim Barnett Park

1001 East Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601

This park has a bunch of walking trails, playgrounds, and green space to explore on a nice day!

Sky Meadows State Park

11012 Edmonds Lane, Delaplane, VA 20144

This is a nice park to walk around that's not too far away.

State Arboretum of Virginia

400 Blandy Farm Lane, Boyce, VA 22620

We haven't visited yet, but we've passed it several times. There is a ginkgo grove here with 300 trees that is apparently colorful and gorgeous in late October and early November!

Delaplane Cellars

2187 Winchester Road, Delaplane, VA 20144

Delaplane is about 35 minutes away from Winchester, and we went there on my bachelorette weekend. It's a really sweet little vineyard with nice views, one of many in this area!
