Faro Airport (FAO)

This airport is located in the Algarve and is the closest airport to our venue (30-40 min drive). It operates flights to most European cities and is easy to access from the U.K. Those traveling from the USA - the only direct flight is from Newark Airport (EWR) with United Airlines, otherwise you will need to connect through another European city.

Lisbon Airport (LIS)

Located in the capital city of Portugal, this airport offers lots of direct options from the USA and U.K. If you chose to fly into Lisbon, take some time to explore this beautiful city before you either A) rent a car and drive down to the Algarve or B) take a train down. The drive from Lisbon to the Algarve is roughly 2hrs 45 mins.

To make getting to and from the wedding as easy as possible, shuttle service will be provided from designated central locations in both Albufeira and Vilamoura to the ceremony and reception. Return shuttles will also be available at the end of the evening. Transportation will be provided between the church in Alte and the reception venue, which is approximately a 10-minute drive away. Additional details, including shuttle pick-up locations and schedules, will be shared closer to the wedding date.
